Well Perez has apparently been forced to delete a tweet stating that he wants to be champion.

Max’s ‘welcome’ in Mexico should be interesting.sendô wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 1:50 pm Well Perez has apparently been forced to delete a tweet stating that he wants to be champion.

Re: Formula1
It shows how my interest has gone that I'm only just watching episode 7 of Drive to Survive. First few years I devoured it.
Anyway, the amount of "narration" that Geri Horner is getting, setting up plot scenarios, sitting in the Oxford countryside asking about driver contracts is ****ing laughable. They've taken what started as an inside sports doc and turned it into housewives of F1.
And the one where Pistari announced his position on Alpine on social media, and all the drivers are looking at their phones reading it simultaneously was utter cringe.
Netflix have utterly ruined their own clever idea.

Re: Formula1
To be fair, they cpuld make the entire series about following Guenther Steiner around every race. I’d watch that.

Re: Formula1
Yup, Housewives of Haas would be a decent watch. Actually the Yuki episode was pretty ok too.

Russell and Hamilton second and third after Perez crashes out in Q1. Russell apparently disappointed he didnt get pole.

Re: Formula1
Funny Perez has a good weekend now has an undrivable car.. I see Marko has thrown him under a bus saying there is nothing wrong with the car and the driver needs to do better... Operation 'get in Riccardo' is well underway.
Strange qualifying, just fuel it up and go round and round, sometimes taking two laps to get heat into the softs, be interesting on the mediums and hard (if anyone tries) tomorrow.
Max moaning about his upshifts as per usual, is there a real problem or is it just Red Bull trying to provide hope to the rest of the field?
F3 races was 50% safety car this morning, I can see stoppages tomorrow, even if it is just VSC to clear gravel.. it is great having old school traps but in the modern world they get twitchy about stones on track is sort of makes them a problem.
Ferrari seem nowhere again.. Leclerc getting prickly with Carlos over not getting a 'promised' tow . Interesting that dynamic and Charlies increasing disillusion with the Italians.
Max if he doesn't have issues will disappear, be interesting the see what happens between the Merc and will AM have faster race pace again?

Re: Formula1
What a shambles.
That’s why a race shouldn’t be red flagged for a standing start restart with few laps remaining.
Drivers will know it’s **** or bust.

Re: Formula1
Why the hell does take so long. It’s almost as like they are making up the rules again.
Processional restart. Daddy Stroll will be happy. Piastri gets 8th which is a nice outcome from this.
Don’t agree with any of it though. Should have finished under the safety car 20 minutes ago.

Re: Formula1
All that money, advanced tech and forward thinking decided by a two lap demolition derby - Shambles.
You can almost hear them make it up as they go along. Needs a root and branch overhaul. The worst thing is you could just see it happening. Embarrassing.
Alonso must wonder why he bothered coming back.

Re: Formula1
I wonder if Verstappen would’ve been issued the same penalty as Sainz, I very much doubt it.

Re: Formula1
What a shambles. How are they giving Sainz a penalty for a lap that basically didn’t count.
I didn’t think F1 could get any worse but they have done a fantastic job today of showing how incompetent the FIA are.

Re: Formula1
They are so desperate for ratings they are manafacturing scenarios that fly in the face of all logic.
The race could and should’ve finished as it stood at lap 56. Now it’s another FIA bull**** bodge.
