The original RE4 was one of the best games I ever played. Might have to get this...if I ever get a PS5.

Preordered this about a month back. I saw one gameplay trailer and I was all in.
The original is an all time classic so I have very high hopes especially after playing Resident Evil 2 remake (3 sadly was a rush job but still playable).
Rumour a demo was going to be available shortly but not sure if there’s a point seeing it’s 2 weeks away.

I'm interested to play this but I'd rather they'd gone in sequence and done Code Veronica next (yeah, i know it doesn't have a number and all that). I'd love to see that particular setting done with the new style.

Demo is out now. Don't know if it was coincidence but started feeling really sick 10 minutes into it. Horizon Zero Dawn was a game I had to give up as it gave me really bad motion sickness.

Yep, don't know why but this is awful for motion sickness. There's been a few complaints online.

Apparently there's some settings you can adjust so will try them to see if it helps before I shell out for the full game.

The adjusted settings to reduce motion sickness really helped and the reviews are almost incredibly positive.

This might be the first game I actually buy on day of release for my PS4 in years. I loved the original and the first time one of the parasites exploded out of a villager was a proper WTF gaming moment.

The Metacritic average is in the low 90’s which is very much relieving and exciting seeing as I preordered this a while back.
I even invested in a pair of Pulse 3D headphones for the experience.
Very happy.
I just need to finish Sekiro first… :crossed:

Looks and plays great. Sounds fantastic too. Only in chapter 2 but it just feels like it’s not going to disappoint whatsoever.
The attention to detail and the freedom to play the game with a far more conservative approach (handgun headshot or knife parry/melee) compliments those who like the subtle approaches to going just bullet happy.
Definitely going to be a contender for game of the year.

It's brilliant. One of the greatest games of all time and they've made it even better.
