Easy when you sprint to make sure you always have triangle formations to keep passing into open space. Something we fail to do often. It's been a bit better of late with Paqueta, Emerson, Fornals, Lanzini playing together more often.
I think sir Carlton was on the end of an even better team goal for us…that boro goal is nothing Zola couldn’t coach a team to do

On YouTube there is a piece on him on The coaches voice
Would certainly be a different approach if did appoint him
Would not like a continental approach by buying players he wants and employing a coach to coach them
It’s probably too early but would certainly be a breath of fresh air and he has a personality the media would like

If Moyes keeps us up, I'd love us to give Will Still a chance.

The Straw wrote: Mon Mar 20, 2023 11:36 pmThe 'football manager' snide remarks that i've seen are well wide of the mark and seem to come from people that haven't really followed the story. It's nothing to do with a computer game. As soon as someone says that, you know that they don't know the story. So there's no point engaging. As soon as you start arguing with an idiot it just looks like two idiots arguing.
Not that I'd stoop so low as to refer to any of my fellow KUMB members as "snide" or "an idiot", but I'd suggest anyone who believes a 30-year-old Ligue 1 manager - and one who has been in their only notable job for less than a season and has no experience of managing in the Premier League - is sufficiently qualified or capable of succeeding David Moyes either imminently or in the very near future at West Ham Utd FC is perfectly qualified to engage in said debate.

Fortunately the chap in question is a little more clued up and appears to accept that.

As I’ve said, it’s a very Swansea appointment but he’s looking a real prospect.

Experience aint worth the paper it's written on.

I cant help but think as soon as **** hits the fan some people on here calling for him now would soon jump down his throat.

I think he's too inexperienced currently and the same with Carrick.

Under the current ownership and the structure of the club, only a ‘manager’ would work in this environment for me and not a ‘head coach’. And I say the word ‘work’ lightly as even a manager would get no more than 2 good seasons at this level before it rapidly turns sour like it always coincidentally does under Mr Sullivan.

The recruitment team urgently need to be looked at before a manager is hired.

From Onana to Paqueta, from Broja to Scamacca. If that’s the recruitment team’s idea of finding a like-for-like for the number 1 target they allegedly couldn't bring to the club then I wouldn’t even trust them to do my grocery shopping, let alone identify players for any other manager beyond Moyes’ tenure.

I’d take the same approach choosing a surgeon as I would a manager.
Sometimes experience can be vital.

Will Still wasn’t even a decent footballer. At least Arteta has vast football experience.

Poor bugger could've won 4-0 if he had been a good footballer.

As good a Season Reims are having. I don't think Will Still is quite ready for managing a Premiership club. A bit like the previous shout for the Cowley Brothers to take the reigns. Look at them now,

Will Still is currently managing in 1 of the 5 major European leagues with one of the teams that were towards the bottom of the league when he took over. Getting results against teams like PSG and Monaco.

Those brothers are lower league managers. Not even remotely comparable.
