Other Games April 1st to 5th
After no Premier League games for a couple of weeks we return with 16 games in five days.
And there's some big games too as we get down to the business end of the league.
The early game on Saturday could see Arsenal 11 points clear if Liverpool turn up & Arsenal do a number on Leeds.
We could be bottom or 14th by Sunday afternoon. Or 12th by Wednesday night.
Newcastle v Man Utd is a massive game in regards to top four. Plus there's four games between teams in the relegation battle (the bottom nine). They will all be key & I reckon there'll be a few early goals coming in this round of matches.
Predictions? Why not.....
SATURDAY 1ST APRIL
Manchester City 12:30 Liverpool - 2-1
Arsenal 15:00 Leeds United - 3-1
AFC Bournemouth 15:00 Fulham - 1-1
Brighton & Hove Albion 15:00 Brentford - 2-1
Crystal Palace 15:00 Leicester City - 0-0
Nottingham Forest 15:00 Wolverhampton Wanderers - 0-1
Chelsea 17:30 Aston Villa - 1-1
SUNDAY 2ND APRIL
West Ham United 14:00 Southampton - 3-1
Newcastle United 16:30 Manchester United - 2-2
MONDAY 3RD APRIL
Everton 20:00 Tottenham Hotspur - 0-1
TUESDAY 4TH APRIL
AFC Bournemouth 19:45 Brighton & Hove Albion - 2-3
Leeds United 19:45 Nottingham Forest - 3-2
Leicester City 19:45 Aston Villa - 0-0
Chelsea 20:00 Liverpool - 1-1
WEDNESDAY 5TH APRIL
Manchester United 20:00 Brentford - 3-1
West Ham United 20:00 Newcastle United - 2-1
Yes, I have picked us to win both games & YES, I am aware that we've only won six in the previous 26 matches
Come on you Irons

Could be a very big moving week for some clubs over the next week. Hopefully we will be looking down on the peasants, or we may well be looking up and taking a big gulp and start preparing for Hull away...

Re: Other Games April 1st to 5th
Crystal Palace vs Leicester City
Nottingham Forest vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
West Ham United vs Southampton
3 very big fixtures this weekend with regards to the relegation battle. Although in terms of the Palace vs Leicester game, when you look at each sides remaining fixtures, a defeat for either side may not prove too costly, as they arguably have a run-in they can pick up quite a few points in. I’ll personally be amazed if either club go down.
The Forest vs Wolves game will be interesting, as if Forest don’t win then things will become very difficult for them when you consider they have picked up the majority of their points at home and their away record is abysmal. As for Wolves, a defeat for them will really drag them back into it. But they can be a funny team at times. They’ve lost to Bournemouth and Leeds recently, but have also picked up wins against Liverpool, the Spuds and a draw at Fulham. It would be typical of them to lose to Forest and then they’ll probably beat Chelsea at home next week.
And as for our game against the Saints, I think it’s fair to say we all know how much we really ought to be picking up 3 points if we want to give ourself a chance of staying up.

2 home games for us and we need at least 4 points before heading to fulham where I think we can get at least a point. how good would it be to win the two home games before next saturday !
we have the squad but do we have the attitude and manager for the task ahead ?

We could see the beginnings of a gap between the top & the bottom of the Dismal Nine.

South Wales Derby on Saturday. It’s a shame it’s not on tv because it’s usually a good match.

I hate those double advertising boards at Man City. Horrible and completely overwhelming to look at.
Advertising in general is a plague on modern society.

Nice goal. Unfortunately good for Arsenal.
Advertising is a pain. The greedy lot in charge would like it if you could only see adverts and not fans.

Funny enough I was just saying to Ms Nero how the double ad boards were very annoying to look at.

1-1
Grealish with good defensive work to stop Salah, then gets the assist for Alvarez at the other end of the pitch.

Liverpool score against the run of play
Grealish does some tracking back and then assists for the equaliser

He's got that all round game about him when he isn't falling over.
If he stayed on feet he would be worshipped by discerning hammers if with us.
