Also, apparently we're relatively high for chances created so it does seem that finishing is the issue.... although that depends on what they deem to be an opportunity.simon hammer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 7:07 pm Despite the fact we've conceded by far the least amount of goals of all the clubs from 11th to 20th...and 6 less than Spurs. In fact, only Arsenal, City, Newcastle, Liverpool and Brighton have conceded less than us.
Also, there are only 2 teams that have scored more than Spurs, but only 6 that have conceded more.
There are only 5 teams that have scored less than us though...I'd strongly argue we need to start scoring more, and quickly.
So that statement is totally arse about face...we need to start scoring and Spurs need to stop conceding

Is there an 'attacking play' switch that you can turn on and off at will or something?

No but you can set up a team to be more attacking and not play it safe for 75 mins in the hope of snatching something in the last 15 which I believe you already know

What can happen when you lose the dressing room.
Re: The Sack Race 2022/2023
The hilarious thing is.... Moyes is always the favourite to be the next one sacked.... Then suddenly the odds plummet on a new manager and they are normally sacked within a day or so..... The bookies then post next odds and once again Moyes is favourite
This has been going on for months... Why anyone would bet on Moyes. I never know

Agreed. He's obviously a Sullivan favourite and will resist letting him go now, to the point he even brought him back again. Sullivan absolutely loves him.Yodi wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 9:05 pm The hilarious thing is.... Moyes is always the favourite to be the next one sacked.... Sullivan got rid of him the first time, it was Gold and Brady who wanted to keep him and then wanted him back.Colours never run wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 9:02 am Agreed. Sullivan just doesn't want to pay out for another manager or commit a big transfer spend to a new guy, and most managers would demand we sort out our non existent infrastructure.

^^^^This won't help him
Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood will miss the rest of the season with a thigh injury.
The New Zealander, who joined on loan in January, was injured on 11 March but still went on international duty during the break, although he did not play.
Manager Steve Cooper said Forest also have concerns over forwards Brennan Johnson and Andre Ayew, full-back Serge Aurier and midfielder Gustavo Scarpa.
Forest, 16th in the Premier League, host 13th-placed Wolves on Saturday.
"It's just something we have to deal with, we'll put our focus into the players who are available and who are training ready to play the next game and commit to them," Cooper said.

To be fair, not many people would bother going anywhere near a NG gig either anymore.... Having a 'scissor player' on stage - That's a farce if ever I've heard one.Colours never run wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 12:50 pm Noel Gallaghers twisting the knife on Spurs too now..

That’ll be harsh on Cooper given the job he did to get them up and then had about 400 players signed for him.Up the Junction wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 7:11 pm Cooper "fighting for his job":
