Re: The Labour Party Thread
Look at Debbonaire's body language here. Like a school kid who's been rumbled lying to the headmaster.
Utterly pathetic and they are suggesting they are an alternative to the current **** show.

Policy committee nonsense that'll never see the light of day come manifesto time.
I think there's a chance they look at 16/17 year olds if they win this election and feel strong going into the election after.

Re: The Labour Party Thread
More difficult when they keep popping up on those pesky "bills" the government use.

Re: The Labour Party Thread
There was a time when Labour had, I think, 40 MPs in Scotland. They certainly need to win some of those back in the next GE.

New MPs were warned about himPatsy Belgium wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 11:45 pm Another alleged sex pest at Westminster suspended I see.
Two Labour MPs have said they were warned about Geraint Davies in their first weeks in Westminster.
They were told by other MPs to "watch out" for him, they say.
The Swansea West MP was suspended by the Labour Party following reports by the Politico news website of "completely unacceptable behaviour".
He is accused of subjecting younger female colleagues to unwanted sexual attention, but said he does not recognise the allegations.
One of those who spoke to BBC Wales claimed she was subject to lewd comments and inappropriate touching.
"He was always lewd and yuck in terms of his behaviour, it was just his MO (the way he operated)," she said.
"It was never sinister, just inappropriate. He'd make lewd comments or touch your arm when you were next to him in the voting lobby. It just made you feel uncomfortable.
Being warned by other MPs the implication is his behaviour was already known, yet it's only now he's been suspended.

Re: The Labour Party Thread
At least Labour actually deal with them. Meanwhile a Tory MP is up on rape charges and has been bailed at least 4 times, and still has the whip. He hasn’t attended parliament in over a year but he is still a Tory MP who has been reselected by his local partyEvilC wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 2:21 pm Send 'em out on a stretcher. Re: The Labour Party Thread
Back in 1997 Labour inherited a healthy economy which gave them scope to carry out their policies, this time round it'll be a basket case. So they'll have to try to fund any policies whilst trying to improve the economy, good luck with that.......

Not charged yet. Was told to stay away from parliament while police investgated. I wonder if his legal anonymity plays a part in that. Didn't mattheson keep the whip until the enquiry was completed?

He reigned from Parliament after it was recommended that he would have a 4 week suspension and Labour kicked him outSammyLeeWasOffside wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 9:45 am Not charged yet. Don't think he was ever arrested or faced criminal charges or a police investigation
