Don't think this attack is up to much, sub-county level tbh, will be good for some of the English lads to dine out on but sterner tests are just ahead.

People already talking about declaring :eh:

Surely we want as many of them out there as possible facing a few deliveries before the Aussies rock up?

The wonderful sound of TMS is making writing a report far more tolerable. As one sided as this is, it’s good for Ireland to get experience and England to get practice for the Ashes.

Well, I don't regret buying the tickets now!

The bowling has obviously been poor but let's take nothing away from scoring 500 off 80 overs. Shot selection has been tremendous.

Odd call, IMO. Why no batting practice for the rest of the order, as well as giving something to the saturday ticket holders?

Only in cricket could a team play at the pinnacle without actually playing that form of the game. It’s like a international beach football side getting an game against England at Wembley.

I think there's an element of not taking the piss out of Ireland by just grinding them into the dirt for no reason.

This has been brutal for Ireland... probably a big step back in their push for more test cricket

Unless teams fancy playing them to bump up their averages

Yesterday saw both the fastest 150 and double hundred scored at Lords. The fact that it was by two different batters is just bonkers.

This going to go one of two ways against the Ozzies. Either exceptionally good or exceptionally bad.

I'll be amazed if Stokes plays at this rate. His knee is clearly fubared.

Perfect batting conditions but the bowling is rather toothless. Hopefully not a sign of the incoming summer.
