Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.
Waking up very early, feeling perfectly fresh, taking the dog for a long walk, coming home to eeryone still sleeping, preparing a nice meal for my 3yo lunch, still having time, reading all about the fabulous time the Hammers had in Prague, listening to that Paqueta song, still not getting any single word of it but who cares?, preparing coffee and drinking it on the terrace listening to the birds.
Well, for the chaos that Covid generated, there is at least one great reward. I'd never have such a morning before.

Just brilliant !
Thanks Dan, as a fellow contemporary Young One he is sadly sadly missed.
I shall never forget the day I saw Adrian Edmonson in the queue for the passport office. I gave him a big grin and he gave me a slightly embarrassed chortle and head nod in reply. Still above the birth of my children in my "all time top 5 best life moments".

Begs the question as to what else is in your top 5, if birth of child doesn't even qualify !!
Went for a six mile run this evening in north Bristol. I decided to put on my 1999 Fila West Ham top and got toots, shouts and applause from so many people on the way round. Turns out that we’re massive.
Was at a 25th wedding anniversary party last night and the DJ starts playing ‘Freed From Desire’ … to which I start singing the Bowen lyrics, getting a few others to sing along … including a Spurs fan.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching The Alternative Commentary- West Ham Clips video of the final, made the hairs on my neck stand up.
Just been humming the Jarrod Bowen song and the wonderful missus jaye tells me to ‘stop singing that bloody song’!!
Also, looking back on it, the amused way that the wonderful missus jaye looked at me and my uncle on Wednesday evening as we jumped around like loons after the final whistle. She doesn’t like football but it’s like she finally understood what it means to be a fan.
Seeing a tweet about Bobby Moore from some yorkshire bloke, saying "he was overrated, my dad said so". The responses were... amusing, to say the least.
