Have to say I thought the Olympic Stadium would have been listed as one of the venues, certainly easier to get to than Totenham with a fast train service, tube, Elizabeth line etc.........

Im guessing that just wanted to select stadiums that are suitable to host football matches.

UK and Ireland to host Euro 2028

Post by kitthehammer »

Confirming what we all expected. Euro 2028 will be held in England, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Wonder why the London Stadium wasn't used? Pre-booked?

Italy and Turkey to host Euro 2032
And the next hosts are also announced with a joint bid of Italy and Turkey winning the right to stage Euro 2032.

As what happened with the UK and Ireland bid for 2028, this was the last bid remaining so it's no surprise at all.

Why would it be our biggest event when just hosted it a couple years ago? Still annoyed that bottled it in final and went into a shell

Definitely will be the biggest ever considering Uefa’s desire to expand the tournament to include every nation in Europe.

Surprised they didn’t decide to hold it somewhere more suitable such as Honduras or the DPRK.
