Apologies, my question wasn’t meant for you specifically. It was kind of general in response to the posts saying Leverkusen were boring, out of ideas, etc.

That’s how I saw it from my position on the back row of the upper tier.

Funnily enough they looked pretty good to me halfway up the terrace as well. Must be Puff’s telly.

That said, 33/1 for us to lift the cup is too good to miss.

Another important thing to note about going to games in Germany is that they have a real problem with soft rock.

Whatever dirge they were singing at the start went on for ****ing hours.

I wouldn’t mind but the bars after were full of fans who sound like they’ve never set foot in the east end, let alone were from there.

On to the game itself it was summed up simply - don’t cheer a goal if you can’t deal with a defeat.
No idea what I was saying here. A lot of German lager and frustration in one place.

Apologies if I offended anyone! Looked a right knob.

And then they did from a miss hit.
The truth is their players kept the ball better than ours and would have done that if we had played a low block or not.
If I see a problem with our starting eleven it's that there are a few who are not technically good enough for the league, but have other strengths.
Moyes I think tries to play to those strengths.
Over 30 shots to 1 suggests it was more about when rather than if.Having said that watching live once it got to 80 minutes I did think 'just maybe'.

Thanks Pinky.

I’m pretty sure you were sat the row behind me on the 7.04 Eurostar out of St Pancras on Thursday morning.
