We had no youth clubs when I was a kid, we literally just took a ball to the park and played football pretty much every single day until it was dark.

I wasn't well off as a kid my best mate being one of 7 even more, but the single biggest difference between now and then was family and the importance of it.

Which would include traditional aspirations such a getting a job, finding a partner, being a good person and looking out for each other amongst other things.

How many kids carrying knifes fall into that bracket?
