Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

As regards the above, have no idea these days of what I am seeing is real or AI generated.
Either way it's impressive.

There was a blind test event yesterday in the café next to the library. We went there and participated. My 17yo daughter loves this kind of stuffs, while her 4yo sister was simply enjoying the music and dancing in the middle of the room which really amused the other people. It was good to feel that both girls were having a great time. And to make it complete, my son came in the middle of the event, make it a full family reunion.

And on top of all that, we won the contest :coolas: We had a slow start (it was mostly French songs at the beginning), but the category with music from movies helped us getting back on track thanks to my daughter and my son. And the final category was more rock'n'roll, so I nailed it. :wolfy:

In a similar vein to Misko, went to a pub quiz last Thursday night with a few mates - had not done it before, but managed to win - this was all the more satisfying having got 2/10 in one round! The wonderful Missus Jaye aced the postcode round, where you had to guess the town/city from the postcode abbreviation.

Our team name was Toxteth O’Grady … any Young Ones will know why! 👍🏼

I like their mexican chicken pizza, with jalapenos.

They used to do a decent coffee too.

I'm off to Mazatlan in 2 weeks which is in the Mexican State of Sinaloa.

When I tell people I'm going on holiday soon they say "Where" I'll say "I'll give you a clue. Aloha (aloa)"

They then say "Hawaii" with a bright smile & I'll say "No, Sinaloa in Mexico"

Sinaloa is synonymous with the Cartels so their faces immediately drops & they then have to warn me of getting kidnapped or beheaded. Mexico is dangerous.

Yep, & that's why I have a hotel overlooking the ocean with an endless pool for under $60 a night.

The Cartels don't give a f*** about me. I'm just there to eat Tacos & drink Margaritas.
