I feel sorry for the woman shooter (rutter) who missed out on the gold through judging errors.

We'[d still be waiting for the verdict in the clay pigeon shooting or whatever they call it.Hammer1966 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 9:07 pm How quickly did they sort out the winner as well. If that was VAR we wouldn't know the winner for at least 10 mins after the finish.

Re: The 2024 Paris Olympics
That was truly outrageous, wasn't it. Especially as the broadcasters were flashing replays around the world, proving her right, while she was still complaining.WHU Independent wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 9:46 pmI feel sorry for the woman shooter (rutter) who missed out on the gold through judging errors.
Let's put it in context, though. We've put up with yours for 17 years...

Can’t believe our Skeet shooter was denied that clear and obvious hit yesterdat but I’m sure before she started she would have taken the Silver. Well done Amber Rutter

Re: The 2024 Paris Olympics
A hard earned Silver there for GB in the team Triathlon
Tough muddas
Edit: Now placed third and bronze medals. Still a great achievement but why not wait for a photo finish to be scrutinised first rather than announce GB as second place straight away allowing them to celebrate.

The whole Olympics has been brilliant and the Discovery + App is superb.
I have probably consumed about 8 hours of coverage a day!
Unfortunately thr next one is in LA so time differences will not be ideal

Very impressive run by Adeleke for Ireland in the 400m. She shuts down a good 50m+ from the line and still wins comfortably.

Superb stuff from GB women team sprint
Three world records broken and the Gold medal
Got a good feeling about our cyclists this time, can see our medal tally getting a great boost in the velodrome
