Space Marine 2. Bit one-dimensional, but the combat and firearms have a nice heaviness, and some of the "mowing down hordes of screaming monsters" stuff is very impressive.

I have a Southend save in 2036. Multiple PL titles and Champions Leagues, absolutely got the bug again with that save and really enjoyed FM24.

Fortunately managed to claw back the ten point deduction immediately with four straight wins.

Red Dead Redemption II

Just a few hours into this (just hit the train) but I’m already engrossed.
The first game is so damn good, I do hope this can reach its heights.

It’s worth noting that I had zero knowledge that this game was set prior to the events of the first game, and that John Marston and others from the predecessor play key roles in the narrative to the prequel.
So the opening has been a pleasant surprise.

Or this was well known prior to its release and I was totally ignorant.

Played a few games recently. Evoland and Slayaway Camp on Android. Loco Roco and Metal Slug XX on PSP, and started playing through the original Tomb Raider again on the PS1 for the memories. Also Shantae and the Seven Sirens on the Switch.

Fancied a racing game so bought Need for Speed hot pursuit remastered for about 6 quid on the PS Store.

I don't know if I'm getting old but it's bloody hard.

Also a few old Capcom games like Strider and Forgotten world's for about £1.50.

The new season of Lost Epoch with a fellow KUMB'er. Level 24 in one day. Playing an archer - harder than other builds I#ve played. Still great fun though!

Final Fight, Street Fighter II and their editions, Captain Commando and Aliens Vs. Predator were my Capcom classics back in the early 90’s.
Capcom ruled the arcade world in the 90’s.

Just finished The Last Of Us Part 1.

Really enjoyable game. I liked the story, and also liked the limited resources and the more realistic nature of the fighting.

I may wait a bit before I get part 2.

I've also got Gran Turismo 7 that I've started playing but struggled to get into. I may go back to that.

Road Redemption, its a follow on from the old mega drive Road Rash series. Really enjoying slapping people off there motorbikes with pipe. If you enjoyed Road Rash I'm sure you'll enjoy this. If not, then possibly not

And its only £15 on the PS store.

Showed my 10 year old an old fave of mine - Dizzy on the Amstrad CPC 464. I have fond memories of that as a kid. Anyway, I loaded it up on the emulator and let him have a go, fully expecting him to last 2 minutes before telling me how crap it was compared to todays games. An hour later and, not only was he still playing it, quite annoyingly he'd got further than I ever got back in the 80s.
