Solved: Search tool

Post by Johnny Byrne's Boots »

I wanted to post about the jailing of Tommy Robinson. I was sure there was an existing thread on him so I put 'Robinson' into the forum search tool and selected 'Topic titles only'. It produced zero results so I started another thread. Lo and behold, right below my new thread is the existing Tommy Robinson thread that the search tool told me doesn't exist Image

What did I do wrong?

edited to add: Now that both threads are on page one of NUMB I did the search again, exactly as above. It found my thread but not the other long established one. Do threads 'fall out' of search results after a certain time?

No. If it's live it's included in any search operation. Glad to note the issue has resolved itself.
