International Break Day 3: Analysing whether David Coote snorted ket or coke… probably time to log off for a week.

He needs to get hold of a media relations expert.

"Constant abuse from Klopp led to me coke"
"Pressures of top level reffing too much to bear" or thereabouts, spin it back on them.

I don't know enough about drugs in the body but wouldn't this have been tested for a regular intervals? (assuming refs are tested too...)

Or is it coke that's more or less gone a day or two after consumption?

Feels like he upset a 'mate' and they've gone out of their way to destroy the guy.

Sorry, he's not been stitched up, he's stitched himself up. A very well paid high profile job and he's thrown it all away.

I know plenty of people in high pressure jobs who go on the odd bender as their form of release. I think Coote is a **** ref but I do feel for him in this instance.

I don't feel sorry for him at all tbh.

Go on a bender, have a mushroom trip, freebase, speedball even, but don't film yourself doing it and send it to people.

Total muppet. Hubris, the fundamental sin.

He's definitely been stitched up.
It may well have been his own fault as you seem to be suggesting but either way he's still.been stitched up.
Someone has gone out of their way to end his career and they've almost certainly succeeded.

It’s almost as if taking drugs affects your judgement or something.

Time to leave the bloke alone to sort over the wreckage of what’s left of his life and start again.

He’s been very stupid, but he has my sympathy and if he has any real friends, they’ll step up and help him.

So first he was coating off Klopp, and now he's banging lines of bugle?

He's gone right up in my estimation.

You’d be naive to think Coote is the only person in a highly paid job who’s done recreational drugs.
