Great start, thrown away.
Brook really has had a complete mare so far out there this tour.

Rashid appeals and overturned, no bat. Umpires just giving every appeal for India pretty much now

Re: Cricket 2025
Not watching it, but you'll get less bias and Anfield than playing cricket in India, there is a reason India resisted DRS for so long

Re: Cricket 2025
For me, the only white ball format that really matters is 50-over still. T20, albeit still fun, is basically a penalty shootout nowadays and doesn't really matter.
I think we can compete in this series at the first 10, third 10, and a bit of a cameo from the tail end demonstrated. As with the red ball though, England let themselves down with catastrophic, unrecoverable periods of play. If it's not failing to finish the tail it's throwing away 3 wickets in 3 overs or 45 balls without a boundary.
We do the majority well but really lack the polish in all formats and that becomes even more exposed against biased umpiring and cheating Indians.

Joy of joys Australia have bowled out Sri Lanka for about 250 and are 330 for 3 with Smith 120 not out and back to his limpet best.

Re: Cricket 2025
Ireland edging towards another Test triumph. Zimbabwe require 221 runs to win with 6 wickets remaining, only Bulawayo rain can save them surely.
Floodlight failure in Barabati, India 48-0 chasing 305.

Ireland win again,
From 31/5 on Day One to win by 63 runs on Day 5 shows a tenacity required for Test Cricket

Re: Cricket 2025
Getting a bit boring watching England at the moment. Getting fast starts and then falling away badly. Feel sorry for Rashid, bowling superbly at the moment and not getting backed up. They look a long way off it with the Champions Trophy approaching.

Good luck sorting this lot out BMac.
He needs to pray Rashid can keep it going for a few years.
Still, at least the golf handicaps are going down
