Billy Joel had a full flop sweat on before he’d even started singing.

Didn’t say it was entirely stinker-free. But that 85 episode in particular was superb.

The joint highlights of my entire week were the bloke from Blackstreet with the vocoder sticking out of his mouth like a hospital feeding tube, and Mrs SBH and I attempting (very badly) the harmonies in I Know Him So Well.

Too right they were mate, my favourite from the Glam Rock era hands down. Forget the singles that Chinn/Chapman wrote for them, some of their album material they wrote was so heavy for its time. To me Mick Tucker is up there in my top 3 drummers of all time, Andy Scott was no slouch on guitar either.

Then, dan? THEN!?

I love Laverne. Probably even slightly more that Whiley. Only problem is you have to watch The One Show to see her these days.

On The Sweet, I'm guessing that performance was after Brian Connolly's throat injury? (Which I think was mid-70s).
