Ings, Antonio, Coufal, Cresswell, Zouma (on loan) out of contract.

Fullkrug never fit, Rodriguez surplus.

Fully expect Paqueta and Soler to be gone too, plus sales of Cornet and Irving from the 'younger' players.

Emerson will be 31 in August but only has a year left on his deal.

He's the only outfield one I'd keep who'll be 31 when next season starts.

I think the whole thing about the age of the squad will become moot.

He's only 30, like JWP when next season starts - but yes, I'd keep them both. I'm starting my cut-off at 31.

With all the players who are virtual certs to be gone the others almost certainly have to stay , imo.

The previous comments are all fair enough re the older players but we are notoriously bad at moving on players that we no longer want/need. Even we should be able to lose those that are out of contract though🤣

This club’s too charitable to let all ageing out of contract players go.

I can’t see Cressy not get a new deal with the minutes he’s been given.

Micky will probably get a sympathy deal, as it also doesn’t help the fact Ings and possibly Fullkrug may go too.

Plus, I think we’ll lazily give Fab a new 1 year deal, despite the fact he was starting to look past it before he was dropped. That’ll be the perfect excuse for the club to ignore that position for at least another season.

Vlad I reckon will go though.

Cresswell is the only one I’d be content with keeping and I’d be disappointed if we kept any of the others.

Soucek surely is nailed on for Everton? £15/20m? I think he's great personally, but seems perfect as transfers go.

Would be gutted to see Tommy go, especially to a team who are a direct league competitor.

Seems a pointless transfer on our side

An injury free Joe Willock would suit us well I think. He’s a London lad and Newcastle will need to sell again in the summer.

Many won’t agree, but a GK is a must for me too. A great shot stopper every now and then, but for me Areola is below average at just about everything else.

Trossard is an obvious one, and Arsenal appear to be one of the few clubs in the league we seem capable of doing business with.

He’d be an upgrade on what we are currently asking Paqueta to do.

Might be a case of which manager he would rather play under, and whether Potter would prefer a different type of midfield player? Completely agree, I've never understood why some fan's always wanted him gone or out of the team, who else is scoring our goals fgs?

Nothing to do with Bosmans ~ but I'd like a wildcard like Antoine Semenyo up front for us. Seems powerful and athletic.

Bryan Mbeumo is another quality player. One of his middle names is Tetsadong, which is a joy to behold.

Kinda weird that clubs like Bournemouth and Brentford and Wolves have better players than us. We really have been asleep at the wheel.

That's because they have better owners.

I think we’re underestimating Soucek’s love for the club, which I personally think he values above David Moyes. And that’s before you consider whether his family are happy in London and would prefer to stay there rather than move to another part of the country. Plus, as has already been confirmed by our Head Coach, he wanted to sign him at a previous club: “I know him well because we tried to sign him at Brighton.” So he must value Tomas enough to want him around.

Speaking of players out of contract in the summer of 2026, I see a player we supposedly was interested in, Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz, is out of contract then. Albeit, there is an option to extend by 1 year.

Plus, so is Mario Stroeykens, who is on “our radar” according to The Athletic.

no more contra ts to ageing players unless they are performing well, we are not a charity.
so we need to let fabianksi forderingham ings antonio leave. cresswell maybe gets a one year deal as cover and he has been playing well.
emerson - sell to italy 8m
mavrospanos - sell 10m if we are intending to bring 2 new CBs in otherwise, keep as 4th choice
paqueta - either banned or sell 40m
coufal - 32 now and declining time to say goodbye. 2m
irving sell 5m
soler return to psg; not good enough we have JWP who is better
rodriguez sell 5m not good enough
ferguson - unless there is a dramatic up turn , send back to brighton. dont buy; maybe a season long loan with an option.
fullkrug - sell if we can 12m
total in approx 82m

Ins
new keeper requires
LB/RB walker-peters free
CB - harwood-bellis 15m
CB webster 5m
midfielders - bellingham 25m, gomes free, banzuzi 10m mcatee 30m
CF delap 35m
cost 120m; approx 40m net spend.

GK areola heygi new keeper?
fullbacks - AWB KWP scarles cresswell
CBs kilman todibo Harwood-bellis webster/mavros casey
midfielders JWP soucek bellingham gomes banzuzi potts orford mcatee
LW summerville guerherme
RW bowen kudus
CF delap ajaj marshall

still gaps in the squad at GK and CF withh a new keeper a priority to challenge areola. ramsdale from saints is the obvious one but he seems a bad luck charm ! plus is he any good ? maybe as a no 2 he would be ok .

around 18 HG players and a good english core to the team

areola
todibo kilman Harwood bellis
AWB gomes bellingham KWP
bowen delap summerville

subs ramsdale scarles webster JWP banzuzi soucek mcatee guerherme kudus

a young fit quick team with 8 HG starting. plus a bench that has quality and good options

make it happen west ham.

Pretty consistent 10/12 goals/assists per season - should fit a Potter team like a glove - he's well known

TTS is absolutely right in his comparison with Paqueta - Trossard would do what the manager wants and the team needs more consistently.

Continued patience with Paqueta seems to be a triumph of romantic imagination over depressing reality.

Would put a lot of pressure on Bowen if we remove 50% of our goalscorers

No reason to lose money on him either. This is the Bosman thread, so who can we get on a free that's better?
