Sounds like the other teams in a Euro champs group that England would struggle to get out off.

I get the feeling most Americans secretly (or publicly) are broadly in favour with Trumps imperialism, and like seeing the USA bullying Canada, threatening to annex Greenland, embarrassing Zelensky in public, being rude to "Europe" and generally doing whatever they want.

Otherwise there'd be more public outrage and general condemnation of his policies outside of the usual political circles. Look at the reaction from the general public to these things in Canada, Denmark, Germany, France, Poland etc. Even in Britain.

Americans? They seem happy enough with it all so long as the cost of everything they buy day to day doesn't go up.

Elon Musk's electric carmaker Tesla has warned it and other US exporters could be harmed by countries retaliating to Donald Trump's trade tariffs.

Looks like American businesses aren't too happy with the repercussions of Trumps tariff war.

Long may it continue. Hope the US spirals into a full blown recession and while his deluded followers will still blame diversity or immigrants, the masses have to take to the streets.

The Dems are reliant on Trump ****ing it up during his tenure.

He is a buffoon, but if Project 2025 doesn't come to relative fruition and everything for the average person hasn't gone to ****, then the months of campaigning about how the world was going to end under him would backfire 'bigly'.

I was litsening to radio 4 in the car with my dad (who thinks Trump is "reasonable") when they did their fact check program.

Every Trump statment he made in his latest discussion was disproved as a lie. And they provided evidence to back it up. No Biden didn't spend $40 mill on transgender mice. No, America is dependent on Canadian leccy. etc etc etc.

Dad: "MMM this Trump bloke lies alot doesn't he?"

Macron: Stop buying American, buy European

PARIS — French President Emmanuel Macron wants to lead a charm offensive to convince EU countries to stop buying U.S. defense equipment and buy French and European instead.

Macron, who has been calling for years to direct defense spending toward EU products, said he wants to convince other European countries that are currently "buying American" to shift to local options.

"My intention is to go and convince European states that have become accustomed to buying American," he said on Saturday in an interview with several French media including Nice-Matin and Le Parisien.

"Those who buy Patriot should be offered the new-generation Franco-Italian SAMP/T. Those who buy the F-35, should be offered the Rafale. That's the way to increase the rate of production," he said.

Sooner or later Americans ( whether they voted for Trump or not) are going to realise that being governed by a combination of an entitled, deluded, convicted felon, his tech bro mate, and a cast of miscellaneous greedy, rich , fruitcakes and Christian fundamentalists isn’t going to work.

So I suggest a campaign they can all get behind- MASA - Make America Sane Again!

Night all.

Now watch him go after those who he blames for a witch hunt all after letting those who tried to over throw Capitol Hill free.

What a pathetic spiteful petty man.

So Donald Trump has rounded up immigrants, accused them all of being in violent gangs (without using due process to verify whether the people he has rounded up are actually in those gangs) and has sent them to El Salvador to work in prison camps.

https://apnews.com/article/el-salvador- ... 04b61f8a37

There is a documentary out there on this exact jail and WOW it is brutal. 80-100 people per jail cell, lights on 24/7 , metal beds that I think where 3-4 stacked high. so climbing up to a free bunk is a thing. It is extreme to say the least.

Also the guards wear these mask all the time I believe in the jail so they can not be recognized on the streets. Not that it matters, most people that go to this jail will die there and they have little to no communication with the outside world.
