Re: Trump
They might well be able to lie convincingly to their voter base, but they wont be able to do it to their allies (NATO that is, not Russia), who are probably wondering right now if this administration can even be relied upon to not inadvertently share key intelligence with the enemy (rather than intentionally, which was already a fear).

Re: Trump
Quite incredible their thoughts on Europe and for them to be aired publically. America's allies, as Sendo said, must be thrilled that anyone of the americans could drop secrets/key intelligence into an email/text/chat group.
All we need now is the orange chimp to sign an executive order banning all other political parties and mandating one name only on the ballot sheet.

In much the same way as Erdogan in Turkey has, someone Trump greatly admires.sussexhammer74 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 1:46 pm

Trump, Putin, Erdogan, Farage .......all cut from the same cloth, all believers of one person being in charge.
This is how democracy dies.

Re: Trump
Mike Waltz was the one who accidentally added the journalist to the chat group.
To be fair, he is only "National security advisor".
What a shower.

Re: Trump
That's like one of us accidentally adding the missus to the boys chat.
Except that would obviously be a lot worse than this.

Re: Trump
going to be interesting to see how Trump tries to politicise this.... one thing you cant do in the states, regardless of what side of the fence you sit on, is put the countries national security at risk.
Id imagine both sides of the house will want a scalp for this...Trump is going to need to serve someone up, Waltz Id imagine.
Just heard that there are questions being asked about Steve Witkoff who was on the chat and has been showing his bromance for Putin recently.... sounds like the questions are being asked about potential breaches of the app when he was in Russia.

Re: Trump
Once again Vance showing his total lack of respect for those in Europe who lost their lives getting dragged into their revenge war on Afghanistan.
What an odious prick.

Re: Trump
Vance is a prick, his comment about bailing out the Europeans (again), by bombing the Hueties (sp), ignores the fact that it was a direct response to the rocket attacks on Israel.
He really is a thick twat, unfortunately in a very powerful role.

I mean their average IQ is 2 points less than you UK....but if you want to keep banging out your XenophobiaPlashet Grove Pete wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 4:50 pm In his defence it could be argued he's a lot smarter than most 'mericans. Though that said it's an incredibly low bar over there.
America showing it's true colours once again.

Re: Trump
50 % of the world's population has less than the average IQ.
The bigger a country's population, the more thick people.
America just bucking a long standing trend & putting really stupid people in positions of power.

That's not how averages work, but 'most' people are below average intelligence.DublinDave wrote: ↑Tue Mar 25, 2025 5:06 pm 50 % of the world's population has less than the average IQ.

Re: Trump
I stated he's smarter than most Americans - I take it you disagree with that comment? Then what does that say about the calibre of American politicians?

Re: Trump
I doubt any heads will roll whatsoever. Very much like Putin they just don’t give a **** and have the power (currently) to do and say whatever the f*** they like, and blame it on anyone but themselves

I've read that a bunch but I've yet to figure out why leaking that chat would be beneficial to anyone.

Re: Trump
Or maybe, just maybe, they really are just thick.
The journalist should have kept quiet imo, just hung on in the group chat, saying nothing, for a few months & then exposing the lot.
If the revelations he got after just a few hours are so damning, imagine what a few months would glean..?
