As we enter the arse end of what's been a festering pustule of a season, we face the unthinkable prospect of Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea all winning a European trophy.
I know I should be far more concerned with the goings-on of our great club rather than worrying about what may or may not happen elsewhere but the horrifying prospect of this lot all winning a trophy is gnawing away at me. Is anyone else genuinely disturbed by this?
A hypothetical question that I've been grappling with is, if you could pick one of them to win if it guaranteed the other 2 didn't, would you do so? Or would you leave it all up to the gods? If you did choose who would it be? I appreciate this is a bit like choosing which variety of **** you'd like in your sandwich but if pushed I'd probably say Chelsea as I think they are the most likely to win anyway, un bloody fortunately.
Hopefully though the universe does us all a favour and none of them win
Chelsea, because I'd be interested to see whether the Europa Conference league suddenly becomes a 'major trophy' rather than the European Tin Pot it was to so many when we won it.
They'll only get Europa League qualification for it which is useless to them.
Spurs win would get CL, sod that.
Arsenal would be even more smug. (It's possible).
Sod that also..!
Chelsea by miles
makes no real difference to them and will get limited air-time/ recognition
then i would prefer Arsenal to win Champions League than Spurs to win Europa, as SPurs getting back in the Champions League after how **** they have been this season would be very annoying

But it might mean they stick with Mate another season
I’ve been a bit concerned for some time though the Spuds’ name is on the cup this year. It just feels like everything has fallen into place for them in terms of luck, having players back from injury, lack of quality left in the competition and them not having to worry about the league now, like us resting players prior to the Conference league.
With their squad Chelsea really ought to be winning the Conference League and it’s arguably a failure if they don’t. Kind of hope they somehow slip up though as not just because it’s Chelsea but it’ll make our achievements look all the more impressive.
Not worried about the Gooners. I think PSG will have their number.
All three London sides to win! They are footballing rivals, not our enemies... Will stop Italian/French/Spanish winning and increase uefa 'coefficient' for English clubs - make it easier for WHU to qualify next year;-)

As the OP says, shouldn't we be more concerned about what's happening at West Ham than worrying about the possibility of three other Londonb clubs clearing up the European honours ?
I couldn't give a fork whether they do or whether they don't. Given the parameters of the question, surely 99% of us would say Chelsea for all the reasons others have stated?
If all 3 win, there really ought to be more incentive to pull our socks up and also we can bin the 'Champions of Europe' chant when we play these 3. We were Champions of Europe, but we have been before and haven't previously been singing it ad infinitum.
I don't care and I gave up on this season before it started. I don't know why but I always felt like it was time for Moyes to go, but that we would, of course, regret it. Didn't stop me from hoping until about 6 weeks ago.
Roll on next season. Lets go Fulle blast and ignore results elsewhere.

Also curious to see how much attention (none) will be given to the fact that both Europa and Conference are much, much easier to win from this year with clubs no longer dropping down from the tournament above midway through.
Being reduced to worrying about other clubs winning/losing is always a sign of one’s own failings. I recall in 2023 Spurs fans whinging about not wanting to win the Europa Conference, due to some belief that other fans would laugh at them for celebrating it like we did.
This season has been a disaster for us, and one of total regression. Without the three promoted teams being so woefully ill-equipped for the demands of the PL, we could have been pulled into a relegation battle. In our current form, I would back us to lose it. So we are lucky to be retaining our PL status. As a result, I don’t care if any other team wins cups or prizes. We were in the running for nothing this year, and I won’t get kicks out of some kind of schadenfreude.
Thing that's always hurt me...Is we are, always have been like the poor cousins when comes to London, trailing behind Arsenal,Spurs, and
Chelsea in the success, ambition even respect stakes to a degree..we the fans have respect reckon pretty much, the Club as a whole doesn't.
Ambition is the worst of those for me...It's something even us lot suffer from.."happy with top half" scenario, that's not showing ambition,
it's settling for something, happy with "Average"...don't win being Average.
Think every Manager we've ever had including DM has an average PL finish of 10th or so...sums us up.
Bugs me massively..the sides mentioned don't have that mentality....they try, have ambition...it shows and pays.
Now we are potentially the worst of all those things behind all the PLs London Clubs...I really truly hate that.
Don't mind the Norf winning stuff....Don't like our London Bruvs wining Trophies tho.
Funny.. one time wanted Brentford,Fulham,Palace to do well, now they have moved ahead of us in ambition stakes, and now direct rivals,
not so much anymore.
