Fairly sure he’d rather go there than stay here. If the Saudis offer €100m we need to make it clear to Mo that we won’t be accepting any bids below that from European clubs

Al Nassr did the same thing in January. Sent bids out for multiple forwards. Had deals agreed for Boniface and Duran; only wanted one; chose Duran in the end.

We've got several agents working on our behalf to get players out or at least create some interest.

Just had a quick Google and found some Research by the CIES Football Observatory. They analysed player turnover across Europe’s top five leagues since 2005/06. The study found that teams with high player turnover often struggle to achieve optimal results. Specifically, 17 of the 20 teams with the least continuity in their starting line-ups were relegated during the period studied. This suggests a strong correlation between squad stability and team performance.

Make of that what you will.

It means the teams with the best players and more success have no reason to make loads of signings. Whilst the smaller, or clubs performing worse often try to improve by signing new players, or getting a new manager to improve the club, in which their own players are needed, so more and more signings.
