In what world do you think that’s even 1% possible as a deal?

For €100m, I’d get him sold the second that transfer window opens.

If €100m for Kudos is true the club should chop the Saudi's hands off.

I really like Kudus but that's silly money you can't turn down.

Especially when we have the gaps we have in the squad!

Everything sounding impossible and challenging. Maybe it wasn't a great idea getting rid of DM if he's built a career out of management managing in such conditions.

If we have moved on we need to do so with an overhaul and have the money to make it happen. Bizarre situation to be in. What was the strategy and short/long term goals?

We was spoilt with European football. I'd forgotten about worrying about relegation. It seriously feels like I would take 17th again next season. Back to what we are accustomed to.

I wouldn’t get too excited about Kudus to Saudi. According to Steinburg in today’s Guardian, he has little interest in going there.

Fairly sure he’d rather go there than stay here. If the Saudis offer €100m we need to make it clear to Mo that we won’t be accepting any bids below that from European clubs

If it was on, 100% I’d sell him for that sort of money. I’d ask for it all up front in one lump sum as well.

I’d then go and buy Delap and two other of those highly rated English players and build for the future.

I can’t see it happening, but it would be sensible.

Al Nassr did the same thing in January. Sent bids out for multiple forwards. Had deals agreed for Boniface and Duran; only wanted one; chose Duran in the end.

We've got several agents working on our behalf to get players out or at least create some interest.

Alan Pardew's Dad wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:17 pm Just had a quick Google and found some Research by the CIES Football Observatory. They analysed player turnover across Europe’s top five leagues since 2005/06. The study found that teams with high player turnover often struggle to achieve optimal results. Specifically, 17 of the 20 teams with the least continuity in their starting line-ups were relegated during the period studied. This suggests a strong correlation between squad stability and team performance.

Make of that what you will.
It means the teams with the best players and more success have no reason to make loads of signings. Whilst the smaller, or clubs performing worse often try to improve by signing new players, or getting a new manager to improve the club, in which their own players are needed, so more and more signings.

If they offer 100m+ for Kudus you bite their hand off. Sell Alvarez as well.

Then go buy Hjulmand, Gomes, David and Delap

Realistically where can Kudus go? Who would be willing to pay the asking price outside of Saudi?
