This has to be the end of the line for Joyce, surely?

Sad to see how it's panned out for him - particularly after impressive victories against Dubois and Parker - but he's nearly 40 and taken some brutal punishment. His defence is so porous it makes me wince watching him.

Not really - unless I find a place to watch it for free.

Personally I think Benn is gonna get smashed. He's moving up two weights, hasn't really fought for a while and Eubanks is fast, can hit and looks really fit.

Over 20 Years ago now.....Bumped into Chris Eubanks and his kids,Peter Pans Playground,Brighton..
Had a Chat,just about Kids,Weather etc, not Boxing,seemed like a nice guy,lovely family,having a great time..
Sad how things work out, lost one of his boys, now doesn't speak to Chris Jnr....not sure why, know he doesn't like him fighting Benn,
dont like Chris losing so much weight to make fight, but must be more to it than that..
Chris Snr is very opinionated tho..I like some of the things he has done outside the ring, but others not so much.

Not sure he likes the "Money Talks" fights either...cos this is one.....trouble is they work,I'll watch it in spite of them p*ssing me of a little..
good if Chris Snr turns up,but doubt he will.

Just watched a video of eubank in a foil heated sleeping bag thing desperately trying to lose half an ounce, surely dehydrating and starving yourself can't be healthy, it all looked a bit sad and desperate for me, also got me thinking and I know this will open a huge can of worms but with the recent trying to ban kids from heading a football because of brain injuries, alzheimers etc, how much longer can boxing last?
Surely if someone came up with a new sport today where two men got in a ring and took turns punching eachother in the head until one was unconscious it wouldn't even be allowed to begin?
The last few fights I've seen have been a bit of a farce, especially the tyson v youtuber nonsense.
I certainly won't be paying to watch it

Bit harsh on Eubank Jr. Granted, he's never the boxer his old man was but he's ducked nobody and only has one bad defeat (Liam Smith) on his record. I can empathise with the lad as my own father no longer has anything to do with me.

Benn is a dirty, cheating rat who was never really tested at 147. He's never boxed a fighter anywhere near Eubank's level, let alone his weight. Eubank was spot on in his analysis of his PED offences; I hope he knocks the little prick out - And I think he will, provided the weight drain hasn't affected him severely.

It's not a "legacy" fight (I find the term nauseating), it's a decent payday for two professional fighters. One is a game, fit, experienced (occasionally super) middleweight with solid punching power and multiple belts. The other is a natural welterweight with a heavily padded record who hasn't fought in a year or won any kind of belt. Ever.

I'll look a right bellend if Benn wins now :crylol:

Apparently it’s going to cost him £300k for missing the weight

I’ve got a really bad feeling about this fight

I sort of thought this, and then had a counter thought that maybe he stayed out of it all until the last minute to ensure he didn’t detract from Jnr

Anyway its good to see him there imo

I want EBJ to win (first time ever ive thought that)

Don’t get me wrong Ozza, I love Eubank, always have since I was a teenager watching his fights but the ego on him is immense!

I also agree, I’m with Jnr. I just can’t take to young Conor.
