Your Annoying Traits/Habits

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Your Annoying Traits/Habits

Post by Rio »

According to my missus

Constantly quoting obscure lines from film/TV (they’re not obscure as I know them)
Changing lyrics to songs
Buying football; rugby, band shirts
Always wanting one more pint when out
Being indecisive
Refusal to dress smart
Sulking
Not listening to family advice
Stubbornness
Commenting disparagingly about tv shows she’s watching

Depends on where she is in her menstrual cycle. At particular times, the list is quite extensive, and appears to include such irritations as breathing, having a face and being alive.

My wife is always on at me saying I spend too much time at home and that my very presence annoys her and that I need to get out more (I work from home most of the time)……Yet when I say “I’m going out for a bit” I get “where are you going?”, “why are you going out, you don’t need to go out” and “I bet you’re only going out to drink” !!

The new Mrs Toulouse hasn't been with me long enough to find out what my annoying habits are yet. Or at least not long enough to bring them up...
I'll keep you posted.

Well....

I'm stubborn
I always think I know better
I have a habit of talking in facts.
I will exit an argument the second someone starts getting highly strung. I've no time for that.
I rarely show empathy
I rarely show interest in other peoples lives
I am always preoccupied out of choice as I need constant mental stimulation. This means I rarely relax - ie sit down and chill with the family.
Almost all of my hobbies and interests exclude other people.

Or in other words, I'm a really really good catch.

You can't be a proper vegan or you would have listed that first.

I always say "arse" when I burp. The kids find it hilarious, Mrs Sendo very much doesn't.

I am devastatingly attractive and charming. Other men seem to find this terribly irritating, although their wives and mums tend to be absolutely fine with it.
