Re: Trump
I couldn't clearly make out what Leavitt was saying as she appeared to have a small, orange penis in her mouth.

Re: Trump
Leavitt said, " Why didn’t Amazon do this when the Biden administration hiked inflation to the highest level in 40 years?"
Comical Karoline strikes again.
It looks Amazon wasn't even going to put it on their main site anyway but as usual in the Trump administration world it's shoot from the hip and act annoyed when the bullets ricochet into your face.
A shame that Jeff and Donald aren't talking. Perhaps they can take a long, long trip in Jeff's cock rocket to iron out their differences.

Re: Trump
I have just watched that press conference with Leavitt.
I just wish that someone in the media would call them out live. Not some podcast, some TV show later, not some youtube channel but call her and Trump out. Yeah thanks for that long winded answer about inflation and biden and amazon and china but how about answering the "GODDAM" question woman.
She did not answer the question about tariffs and how the consumer/importer pays the tariff. She used the old Trump tactic of deflection/distraction and muddying the waters and persons/company. It is really annoying.
I get what Ozza was saying about Brexit and the shrimpers but surely there has to be a point where you think I made a mistake voting this lot in, giving them the nuke codes and they can't even organise a chat group, prosecute a "fraudster" found by DOGE. Still it might be a bit earlier in his tenure for the Trump followers to realise they have been duped.

Re: Trump
Absolutely agree and have said it myself a few times here…we need to see it from the US voter’s point of view and I can understand why some voted for him due to all the promises.Ozza wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 7:29 am If you strip away our viewpoints of Donny for 1 minute and you look at it from their perspective of America being a super power yet industry is on its knees (the Shrimp boating industry being one) with cheaper imports than they can make themselves
And someone comes along and says he’s going to stop imports so that industry would come back, and stop giving American tax dollars to foreign things like NATO
Well you probably would wouldn’t you
Not every American who voted for him is a die hard Maga frother
I could see the logic from their perspective (a bit like fishermen over here voting for Brexit)
It’s why historically in economic decline people vote for far right policies (anti immigrants, lower tax, building industry)
People mostly don’t care about ideology they care about the money in their purse and the standard of living for their families
What I can’t account for though is someone actually, genuinely, really thinking him an actual genius

Don’t get me wrong mate, if those voters end up being worse off then they will absolutely turn on himsussexhammer74 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 5:52 pm I have just watched that press conference with Leavitt.

I know plenty of Brexit voters who wish they’d voted the other way

Asking visitors at his rally to come up with their best nicknames for Biden. Stay classy Donald.

Hearing Trump's speech when he said he'd "Make America Stroooooong Again" reminded me of Palpatine when he said strooooong.

Re: Trump
Polls saying his popularity is waning are "fake", going on about how the 2020 election was rigged again...

Re: Trump
The thing is, the more people attack him with things like "low approval ratings" and so on, the more it shores up his base, who buy into the "fake news" bit wholeheartedly.
A lot of Americans believe anyone who isn't a gun toting redneck is a commie.

Re: Trump
This has to be the most clear and perfect example of his embarrassingly limited intellectual capacity. There is a photo circulating of hand tattoos from the chap wrongly deported. The image has, in aerial font, the characters m-s-1-3 superimposed on the image to point out alleged interpretations of his actual tattoos. The Fanta menace literally thinks these characters are tattoos. When you see the image, it’s clear how obviously misguided the Don is. Someone in his inner circle thought it was wise to let him run with this… surely they’re stitching him up?
The exchange with the reporter is extraordinary (feel free to skip the yapping beforehand)

Re: Trump
Whatever Mr. Trump buys, he sells on to his cult tenfold.
He makes a lie the truth to his base, and that's all that matters (to them at least).

Told them all that petrol was "down a lot" when it's higher than when he took office, eggs down 87% when they aren't...SirStoneyOfBow wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 12:58 pm Whatever Mr. Trump buys, he sells on to his cult tenfold.

Just tells blatant lies and goes unchallenged.

Re: Trump
I’ll be honest, I’m sick of hearing about him.
The BBC report every detail of everything he does. Why the f*** do I care about petrol or egg prices in the USA?
Stop giving this buffoon the attention he demands and a lot of his power goes.
It’s like no-one learnt from his first term.
