Two episodes in. Not as good as the first series so far IMO. Bella Ramsay is less convincing as an adult Ellie than she was as a child Ellie.
The girl playing Abby is also too small compared to the game.
I should really try not to compare it to what happened in the game but I can't help it. The game is excellent. In fact once I finish watching the series I'll probably play it through again.

He is. He's this generations Bob Hoskins. Its about time a working class London voice was honoured rather than ridiculed.
Hoskins had range, versatility and depth. From what I've seen, Danny Dyer plays... Danny Dyer.

1. Toy Story 2
2. Toy Story
(Big drop-off here)
3. Toy Story 3
(Small drop-off here)
4. Toy Story 4
IMHO
I think the third while not as good as the first and second is closer to them in quality than it is closer to the fourth.
The fourth is decent enough, maybe an 8/10; while the other three are 10/10, 10/10 and 9.5/10.

I know this all about opinions, but I worked with Bob on The Rainbow, the very first all digitally shot film, he was a lovely man, and what range he had was within the same arch that Danny has, but no more than Danny. I'd argue that Danny has been limited by his role choices, Bob had the good fortune to land better roles, but as good as Bob could be Bob never submerged into the character, there was always a bit of him left, thats no bad thing and he was hired, not because he was chameleon like, but because he was a quality actor of character roles.
Watch Danny's early Eastenders ep that deals with Mick Carters child being gay and how he interacts with that and get back to me about depth.

To be fair I wasn't knocking him...it just seems to be tagged onto every article, feature about.

I’ll take your word for it Estuary.
Just don’t make me watch Eastenders.
The new Mrs Toulouse is from Senegal, so I was roped in to watching Senegalese soap operas. Christ, they are bad. Not helped by the fact that they are in Wolof with dodgy French subtitles. They are interesting, culturally, as they give me an insight of where she's from but the plots, acting and production standards make 70s Crossroads look like The Wire. I think she watches them because she's a bit homesick and needs to keep a sort of link with her culture, which is understandable, but still....
The whole "Multiple wives" sub-plots are an eye-opener, though (muslim men can have up to 4)
Danny Dyer is a better actor than people give him credit for. Unfortunately he is just made for a certain type of role, and he takes the ££. I don't blame him.
Watched the first part of ‘Suspect’ last night.
I don’t imagine the Met’s reputation is going to be done any favours in this drama about the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes.
Standard of acting is very good with a number of familiar faces ( Conleth Hill and Russell Tovey to give you two examples) and although you know what’s going to happen ( episode 1 deals with the bombings on the tube and bus in Central London) there is real tension in the build up to the events of 7/7 and immediately beyond.
Started to watch NOPE on 4+1 . Gawd almighty, the dialogue was barely understandable, not sure if its the speaking style of the american production but just impossible to watch, in the end we gave up and went straight to the C4 version which obvs was 1 hour in front and just watched the end 30 minutes..not a clue..NOPE indeed.
Then: Save Yourselves
Marginally better but at least I could follow it.
Drama Channel 1st of series 2 of Signora Volpe.
I know Cuenca has mentioned this and it is just about watchable for me mainly because of the setting..better than either of those films though.
I still VERY much look forward to each and every episode. it never leaves me frustrated (except a little bit last night) or bored or wishing I never had started watching the series.
Agree 100%. However, just once I'd like to see a murder case in Beyond Paradise.
