Re: -DL-/Dyer's Leg
That's very sad news, Nick was a great poster, I really liked seeing his posts as they were pertinent and relevant and I just liked his style.
Thoughts with his friends and family.

Chicken Run Supreme wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 10:27 pm I remember a thread 8 years ago about Depeche Mode playing at the London Stadium in the summer of 2017 and I’d posted about my frustration of seeing tickets for the gig already being advertised at exorbitant prices before they had even gone on general sale.
DL sent me a message with O2 priority access, providing me with his mobile number and password and signed off the message with “enjoy the gig”
I guess that’s just the kind of guy he was.
That’s a lovely memory CRS thanks for sharing (wipes away tear)

I have been on here (mostly lurking) a good many years (21) and he has always been a fixture as longs as I can remember. Seen a few people go over the year now.

I love how he always said it how it is. Clearly a massive miss to the forum, and to the wider world, from all the lovely anecdotes posted in this thread. Top fellow Hammer, I raise a glass
Rest in Peace.

Re: -DL-/Dyer's Leg
Was having a flick through Nick's photography page earlier on instagram, he really was a fantastic snapper.
Wanted to pop onto this thread and just say he's in my thoughts
I think his page is open; nickfretwellphotography is his page if anyone wanted to take a look at his work on there
