Same. I was going to post the news yesterday, but didn't because of learning about his crimes.

And I've only just learned it, having read it off of you gentlemen! :eyes:

Won't change me thinking some of his tunes were bangers and it physically can't change the fact that he was a hero of mine in the mid-eighties when I was all about the burgeoning electro/hip-hop scene; but I'm dismayed at what I've read this evening. :(

I'll raise you a Gary Glitter or Lost Prophets LC. Both had great tunes back in the day, but I can't bring myself to listen to them anymore.

Asha Bosle, 92
Asha Bhosle, a legendary Bollywood singer who became a cultural icon, has died aged 92, her son has confirmed.

The unrivalled queen of Indian playback singing died in Mumbai, having been admitted to hospital after suffering a heart attack.

Her death marks the end of an era in Bollywood music - with her career spanning more than eight decades and encompassing more than 12,000 songs.

Bhosle's distinctive voice breathed life into countless film songs as actors lip-synced to her unforgettable tracks.

Her pervasive presence in Bollywood earned her the 1997 hit Cornershop tribute Brimful of Asha, and she was also known internationally for a collaboration with British musician Boy George.

Whether you like Bollywood or whether you don't, that's some career.

The theme from Harry's Game was chilling, Moya had an extraordinary voice and Clannad a very evocative sound. The TOTP's they did was a weird watch.
RIP

Angel and the Soldier Boy is the one for me.

Gets in my soul how much nostalgia that soundtrack provides.

I remember saying to my other half 'what's wrong with his hair?' as he had a strange bald spot behind the ear which presumably was linked to the skin cancer, poor sod.
