Halftime at the Merseyside Derby with Liverpool 1-0 up.
Everton have looked ropey and Liverpool just a shade better.

A Lay of Liverpool at 1.17 and at least I get some compo if Everton get something out of the game :smiler:

It took Liverpool a couple of minutes to double their lead but what the heck
Lay Liverpool at 1.04 (with liabilities so low it's like a free hit)

Ive had some on Rotherham tonight. Enhanced price of 11/2 in a 3 horse race. Too big a price id say. Now watch them get smashed 6-0

Isthmian Premier (available on Skybet and bet365)

Canvey Island to win away at Bishops Stortford tomorrow is stonking value. We are 11/4 on skybet/ 14/5 on Bet365.

Bishops Stortford are top of the league but suffered a 3-0 defeat on Saturday just gone, meanwhile we thrashed Potters Bar 5-0, who are very poor recently but it'll have given us a nice confidence boost. The last time I saw us play poorly was 3 months ago, we are really playing some cracking football recently.

We have an incredible record playing against teams above us in the league at the time of playing them, the record I believe is something like played 11, won 8, drawn 2, lost 1.

Given the performances at the weekend just gone, confidence in the Canvey camp will be sky high, and the price differential seems far too big with the home side priced up at 4/5.

Take Canvey to win at 14/5. Canvey/Draw double chance at 10/11 on b365 also rates as a good bet.

Another from tonight's Isthmian Premier.

Margate to win away to Potters Bar at 31/20 on bet365.

Potters Bar were atrocious on Saturday. I watched them lose 5-0 to Canvey and I am fairly certain they didn't register a single shot, didn't even have a foray into our half.

Their goalie was very young and slender. He was good at shot stopping but got extremely bullied at crosses missing several punches.

Potters Bar have now lost four of their last 5 games, three of these being 5-0 defeats, one 2-0 defeat and one 0-0. Something is wrong in the camp and 31/20 for them to lose again tonight looks generous given their run of form, albeit Margate aren't as good a side they should still be a bit shorter I think.

Margate won 2-0 last game and held a very good Enfield side to 0-0 the game before so should be winning tonight.

--

I rate the Canvey win/draw (10/11) and Margate win 31/20 as a very good double, returning just under 4/1.

One minute away from the full house. Margate finished 1-0 before Canvey. Canvey 2-0 up until 73rd minute. Then concede the equaliser in the 95th minute from a penalty given for handball, the very last kick of the game.

We secure profit on the Canvey Draw/Win & Margate win double, but that is an absolute sickener as had the win single too, not just for the bet but more so for our playoff aspirations. Still a good result but :hush:

I’m not generally a great fan of ‘buying money’ by backing odds on favourites but Crotone, Italian Serie C, are 10-11 to win away later today.

Doesn't really make any sense that logic of buying money. Think of it as an ROI. You'd be happy with 10% ROI on an investment, well odds of 10/11 are a 91% ROI if you win.

Betting is entirely about value. 10/11 means your selection needs to win 52.4% of the time in the long run for you to break even, if 53%+ then profitable for you. Don't worry about it being odds on or whatever or the 'buying money' phrase.

Just been forwarded a message saying Burnley U21s are playing 7 players from the first team tonight - Bellis, Taylor, Bastien, Devisilogolu, Twine, Benson and Al Dakhil - in their game away to Sheff U U21s

9/2 on Skybet away to Sheff U - https://m.skybet.com/football/english-p ... t/31221122

7/2 on B365 - https://www.bet365.com/#/AC/B1/C1/D8/E134777009/F3/I0/

edit - Skybet suspended betting on Burnley and then hoiked the whole market. B365 still available.

Unfortunately for game ended as a draw, lesson learned.
