Today i bumped into...

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

David Gower, eating lunch in Smith’s Bar & Grill with a couple of blokes that looked vaguely familiar. He had the fish & chips.

He was also Spurs secretary, and also a bigwig in the FA, so there were some ex Spurs characters there Chris Hughton, Clive Allen, David Pleat, Sol campbell. Chris Hughton a gentleman as always
Wasn't there but I saw that Caitlin Downie sang Ave Maria, local girl and have seen one of her concerts, very good singer. She was also in the same class at school as one of my daughters.

Kyle Walker this morning in the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid.

It should be said that I didn’t really bump into him, more like saw him through a window.

My attention was drawn to him by a group of Citeh groupies outside the hotel who were photographing him. Incidentally they all seemed to be modelling themselves on Liam Gallagher - dress sense, haircuts, the lot. Including the women. How strange? I thought.

Thank god for that, one of you would have come out of it with a ruptured spleen and my money would be not on Walker. :)

He asked "Do you have a suit that fits me?" The assistant replied "Well, if we do someone's going to get the sack!"

Tony Carr in the car park (no pun intended) after the game today. What an absolute top man, came over and shook my hand when I acknowledged him and stood at the side of my car for about 5 minutes reminiscing. Absolutely made my day talking to a man responsible for nurturing so many of my West Ham idols.

'Original guitarist from Iron Maiden' (which I think makes him Dave Murray - I was never a Maiden fan) Also bass player of Leader of Down and both guitarists from Dead Man's Whisky, all right next to me in the crowd at Phil Campbell & b*stard Sons gig, after they had played as supports

You may well be right - like I say, I'm no IM afficianado. The intro he was given on stage made it sound like he was the "original" member, so could be Sullivan (but I can't find a picture of him). He certainly looked like this picture of of Dave Murray, but then so did about 80% of the audience
