Clarities ~ revisiting this epic and excellent label compilation from Jewel Garden, from 2024, full of exploratory experimental music.

Not me.
My son is currently at an event where him and a bunch of other pretentious strokers are "listening" to "music" made by another bunch of other pretentious strokers randomly parping their car horns. Looks like they're having a ****ing whale of a time.

Was randomly directed to this via another platform... had never heard it before... if it doesn't move you, your heart must be made of stone.

Just checking in with what Mr Kevin Parker is up to. Bit of an alternate universe mix this, never would have expected him to throw on Humate's Love Stimulation. He needs to join the Early 90's Yoof Thread for some proper bangers from that era.

Mezzanine one of my faves. Risingson blew me away when I first heard it.
I bought the remastered Led Zep debut album on vinyl yesterday, got to listen to it this evening. Jesus H, those boys weren't phoning it in in '67 were they? Cracking record. Have heard it before but only really listened to it today.

Still my fave album of theirs . Heard some of it shortly after its release(1969) played at school by a very progressive music teacher,Gaz wrote: ↑Sun Sep 21, 2025 6:55 pm Mezzanine one of my faves. Risingson blew me away when I first heard it.

Greenslade Time and Tide is out there in the garage with the rest of my vinyl. Very good, if the bassplayers' voice is a little grating. The way the song about ageing (title?) segues into The Ass's Ears was always a fav back in the day.
