West Ham fans have caused this. I have grown weary of the deathly silence that hangs over UP. I often look at those sitting around me and wonder why they didn't just save the money rather then spending dosh on something they seem to garner absolutely no enjoyment from.

Perhaps if people got behind their team, sang a few songs, even learnt some other than Bubbles, made Upton park an intimidating place where people feared going, maybe then we wouldn't have to endure this latest embarrasment. Sad to say but these latest plastic gimics only symbolise the plastic nature of large parts of the fanbase.

Oh well, all my Spurs and Arsenal mates still seem to like football. Must just be me.

It's amazing how useful internet forums are.

For the many years I have been on this forum, there has been a general consensus that the atmosphere has declined.

Now that we have fans as owners it was only a matter of time they noted this and decided to sort something out.

The challenge is simple, the traditionalists need to outsing the happy clappers.

Mix the two and then you get a great atmosphere and a bit of fire in the belly.
