I thought last night’s episode was brilliant TV. Two separate threads reaching boiling point at the same time . My only gripe is there are just two episodes left before we say farewell to Sarah Lancashire et al.

Watching it now on BBC2, 'The Warship: Tour of Duty'. Brilliant stuff.
Special GCRO Warning: contains footage of thousands of tins of baked beans.
Don't ever go to sea, mate..
I boggled a bit at the lad with the picture of nuns next to his bunk. Two out of the three characters who featured appeared to be pacifists.
Bit different to the series I saw a few years ago when the Para trainees were chanting 'What makes the grass grow? BLOOD, BLOOD'.
I saw Yellowstone mentioned a few times in here and its Taylor Sheridan prequels. It's not really our genre but we started with the prequel 1883 the other night and its pretty good. So thanks to those that mentioned it.

I’ll buck the trend on Happy Valley

Likewise CRS. All the stories are connected in some way plus, I'm finding it difficult to try to avoid 'guessing' what happens next.
e.g. The woman who's just come out of jail?? is that just incidental?
We’ve started Mad Men and whilst I’m quite happy with slow burners, we’re about 8 episodes in and just nothing has happened. Is this one of those you have to give some time to before it clicks? Or if we’re not feeling it yet is it not going to happen?

Interested to know too. I didn't make it as far as you but want to try again.
Binged Everyone Else Burns on All4 up to roughly halfway through episode 5 (of 6). Didn't laugh or even crack a smile at it once. Looked as though it had potential in the adverts
Mayor of Kingstown on Paramount - Not sure about this one yet, few episodes in, on one hand I think it's very good, on another hand I think WTF. I like a bit of violence on my TV, but a couple of scenes have made me wince a bit, maybe a little OTT.

Not tried yet but it’s definitely on my “to watch” list
