Re: What did you watch last night?
I was actually wondering if there was a shark to be jumped. And.
Then that happened!
Excellent TV

Re: What did you watch last night?
I liked it for what it was, it wasn't needed or necessary and everyone would have been happy if it never existed, but it did have some good bits, but the original is probably my favourite film.
But I think I am against the general flow of most on here, I dislike most of the things (or more to the point cannot get 'into') all the shows that are talkabout on here as being good.
Uncut Gems above - I turned off after about 30 minutes though it was awful, trying the flight attendant, think I'll give up after two episodes, succession - nah lasted 4 episodes even the Boys got bored with season 3 very quickly . I'm an odd ball but happy with it.

Re: What did you watch last night?
Matrix Resurrections, I couldn't finish it. The worst film I've watched in a long time. Zero redeeming features.
-------------
I finished The Leftovers last night.
The final episode. Hhhmmmmm. It just didn't quite get me. It wasn't a catastrophe but felt like it overexplained where it should have shown.
Still a pretty nice ending all things considered. And certainly didn't taint what is an absolute powerhouse of a show.

Making good use of a day off (third of three). Obi wan episode 5, fantastic stuff. Just one left but they have made this ‘feel’ like old stars wars and I love it.

Re: What did you watch last night?
Was a great show, wasn’t expecting much for the end with lindeloff’s previous (Lost) but redeemed himself with Leftovers and the excellent watchmen.
I’ve had the soundtrack to season one leftovers on the past couple of days after hearing one of the standout tracks on season 5 of Peaky Blinders

Re: What did you watch last night?
Professor Brian Cox, of course, silly question. Seven days on Mars. BBC 2 9:00 pm. As if he isn't excitable enough, his joy was off the charts in this one off as he and an astronomer pawed over pictures taken by the Perseverence Rover as it sent back astonishing photos of the surface of the Red Planet. Amazing stuff - some of the images were out of this world

The rise and fall of the super league on BBC Iplayer. Nothing new but it killed an hour. I'm still disappointed the big 5 + Tottenham got away with it.

Re: What did you watch last night?
As a further aside to my post above, Prof Brian Cox positively eulogised about the Perseverence Rover uncovering a piece of silver paper on Mars and I couldn't distinguish whether it was a kit kat wrapper or a discarded empty crisp packet, probably McCoy's

7:10 pm Saturday night on BBC2: 'Paul McCartney at the BBC'. It may have been on before, I'm not sure.
For anyone that likes or doesn't mind Macca, it was really great.

Re: What did you watch last night?
Slightly late to the game, but watched Terminator: Dark Fate, the reboot of the Terminator franchise, ignoring all the terrible sequels to Judgement Day.
It's alright, but it's basically a re-run of the first film, with more modern tech
