Re: The new kits thread
Best of the lot although it did also remind me of a lady's time of the month as a poster mentioned already. But it is hard to judge the exact tone of this shirt which I am sure will look a bit different in person. To the criticisms of it not being in traditional colours, I thought that was entirely the point. Besides the push to sell more products to punters.
I'd be happy for us to wear a bin bag if we were able to get some more decent signings in.

Re: The new kits thread
I’ve only just seen this new kit.
I really like it. Third kits should be something completely different to a club’s usual colours, in my opinion.

It’s fine. Solely there to gouge a little more from the supporters. You won’t see it used but for a few times this season. I like it better than that purple one we had a few years ago.

Don't like any of the new kits, thankfully I don't have to wear one.

Re: The new kits thread
Our home kit is very popular with the media and neutrals. Finishes really high up on all the articles rating the league's new kits.
I personally really like it.
I really like that third kit too, I'd probably wear that to play in my 7-a-side league if the price comes down. Not a fan of those shorts.

It's OK, I'm sure it will look better in real life. Orange looks a bit faded in the images.

£65 for the adult.
I spent £40 on the new Lewes shirt yesterday which is probably made in the same sweat shop.

I knew I recognised it from somewhere.
Used to be in a football kit design league about 7-8 years ago and had to design a kit for sanju sangmu FC from China.

I'd put a picture up of the strip if I could. One of the only sponsors that looks good I think. Always liked Kappa stuff as well.

Re: The new kits thread
Are the ‘club’/Umbro doing a Spurs/ Liverpool, and producing pure filth off the wall 3rd kits. Spuds and scousers are having those completely messy 3rd kits, and looks like we are doing the same, only difference is we also have completely disgusting home and away kits too. Not known a season like it, we usually get at least one shirt I like, not this season.
Knowing our luck we’ll go all the way in the Europa Conference and the whole of European football will think those are our usual colours, graffiti crap home, black and pink away, and period stained 3rd. Madness.

Re: The new kits thread
all three kits are poor. maybe the black one when reduced to £20 next year might be worth getting. the others are awful though. the orange is the worst, nothing to do with our club !

Re: The new kits thread
How many other teams have a consistent away kit that has any relevance let alone third?hammerman11 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:52 am all three kits are poor. maybe the black one when reduced to £20 next year might be worth getting. the others are awful though. the orange is the worst, nothing to do with our club !
Aside from we started wearing it and have done since what relevance does claret and blue have.
If we have great run in this kit and they decide to stick with the colours regularly in years to come it will have something to do with us.
