If this is legit then it will be about the 4th time we've had a black shirt. First time around was the Adidas one, so it's nothing new as far as we are concerned. And as it happens I actually don't mind the flourish of colour on the sleeves :smiler:

Nothing.
We are one of the few teams that rarely have a randomly coloured alternative kit.
Usually white, sky blue or navy, recently had black too, most teams have different colours regularly.

If the pattern on the sleeves were actual claret and blue it make might a bit more sense, rather than nearly our colours…

Get that cuff pattern all over it and it would be really nice.

This and the Norwich shirt are how to do a nod to the 80s/90s.

All that's missing is a no smoking sign!

I get that a lot of kit designs are nods to 90s fashion, but basing the sleeves of that shirt on one of Mr Motivator's leotards is a leftfield choice.

Having a black third kit is just so boring and shows no innovation and is just lazy...

We should only have our normal home kit and the 2nd and 3rd kits be either blue or white with hints of claret...there are so many variations you can put together with them three colours...we don't need any other colours...we already have an identity we don't need some luvvy putting a spin and adding new colours to stamp their mark...I assume they are created by people who don't know football and have no respect for traditions.

BTW that WBA kit looks good...

Would assume it was a keeper kit if not for the short sleeves
Not a bad shout actually.

The pics of the home GK shirt were all short sleeves.

The sponsor, Cazoo, is facing major issues, laying off something like 15% of their workforce. I wouldn't be surprised the club are preparing for a quick change on the shirt any time soon.

I think black kits look smart, and for us they have coincided with some decent football over the last couple of years so i have a further fondness for them.

I do agree with you to an extent, but a third kit (which we don't really need by the way, and neither do 99% of other teams) is a fairly modern thing, and most clubs use it to use colours not really associated with those clubs.

WHU Away kit should be white or light blue, but third kit go to town with it if you want imo. Wouldn't mind seeing a pink shirt like that ladies one at some point, although I'm sure I'll be in a very small minority :smiler:
