Re: The new kits thread
You'd like to think that Castore would have had the backbone to get the brief for that away kit and tell Newcastle to do one. Not like they haven't got enough other kit deals in place already to accept losing one in favour of taking a stand.

Money talks, which is the reason the oil tyrants are welcome in the PL in the first placeYorksHammer wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 11:27 am You'd like to think that Castore would have had the backbone to get the brief for that away kit and tell Newcastle to do one. Re: The new kits thread
MLS clubs typically only bring in one new kit a year, alternating home and away. They also add in limited edition training tops during the season -- I quite like this.Jackanakanory wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 10:05 am I see Brentford are using their same home kit this season from last season and Nike are in talks with clubs they supply for two year kit cycles!
Can't see many Premier League clubs wanting to lose that revenue?

I forget his name but a Muslim footballer tried to refuse to wear Wonga on his team's jersey before being photographed at a casino. Alcohol is supposed to be a no no too but I know a fair few who'd have a cheeky pint out.Colours never run wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 9:41 am Seems almost impossible to think 1 shirt could offend everyone concerned but somehow Newcastle pull out all the stops on this one and offend those that hate selling their soul/identity for money and to offend those that practice Islam promoting gambling on it. That's some going!

Not that I really give a flying one, but if I was a Saints fan I would be unimpressed.

Re: The new kits thread
Saw it earlier and assumed it was the away kit, sure if they inversed the colours it would look great.WoodvaleOne wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 8:02 pm Not that I really give a flying one, but if I was a Saints fan I would be unimpressed.

Re: The new kits thread
Nah I mean I just like the design (don't care about Southampton and if its their home or away kit) and think it would work for us as an away kit, but obviously with blue and claret..

That Southampton kit is awful
Really like San Diego’s effort. Didn’t even know they had a team, mind.

Re: The new kits thread
Nice job Macron have done with that Motherwell away kit, kind of reminds me of a Roma kit.
Not so keen on the collar but the sleeve detail is a nice touch.

Re: The new kits thread
I was just about to say the opposite - think it looks really clean and different, but in a way that keeps it as being obviously Southampton.
If I was looking at it from a simple look point of view, I'd say having red sleeves/shoulders (kind of like a raglan shirt style) with the body would have made it better. But overall I think it's a good spin on what they normally have.

Re: The new kits thread
The new Norwich kit is an absolute cracker (I cant post pics, have never known how to)
Simple design, pinstriped and two colours. Would look fantastic for us as an away kit, white with sky blue pinstripes
