And it usually plays out like that on social media.Harlow Hammer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 06, 2022 8:34 pm
I hate freeloaders or people that spend money as soon as they get it and then moan that they have no money and plead broke.
Re: Little things that irritate you
Getting a sandwich or burger or some such and they put it on a plate with the serviette UNDERNEATH the bloody thing so the serviette gets messy and then you've got to ask for another one and they give you one of "those" looks.

Re: Little things that irritate you
I'm open to suggestions - how the f*** else do you get the police involved in a situation where a nob-head is deliberately obstructing an emergency vehicle?
Alternate approach would have been to drag him out of the car and give him a kicking, I suppose - which is what would probably have happened if he'd tried the same tactic in a less genteel area

People who set up crowdfunding pages.
Especially those who do it for themselves.

Re: Little things that irritate you
I have been trying for a week to get my phone to sound when I have an email or reminders etc...
It used to do it but stopped last week.
I had been into every bloody setting and screen I could find and turned on things and changed settings etc... but still no good it would only vibrate but no sound.
I just discovered................I had put it on silent last week ffs.

Re: Little things that irritate you
Still the transfer thread.
Also.... college kids working in Wickes.
ME: "Where's the mortar plasticiser, mate?"
HIM: [blank stare]
ME: "Errrm, ok, where's your cement dye or patio cleaners gone? They used to be here"
HIM: "You want to build a patio?"
ME: "No, and it's LAY a patio. I'm looking for all the bottles - mostly yellow bottles - that used to be here [points at blank shelving next to bags of cement]"
HIM: [blank stare]
ME: "Yellow bottles???? HERE??? [points again]"
HIM: "We've sold out".
ME: "Of what?"
HIM: "Yellow bottles"
ME: "Oh forget it"
Plasticiser found in aisle 6.
I muttered my first "don't know ya f*cking born". I'm officially a middle-aged grump

Well the cap fits!
I think I might go back, hang around until his shift finishes, and then mug him for every gram of dirty weed he has.

Re: Little things that irritate you
The “just popped in for transfer rumours” comment on the transfer thread followed inevitably by the grandpa Simpson gif.

Probably Plantar fascitis.
Wear shoes with arch support.
Roll your foot backwards and forwards on a tennis ball.
Stretch your calf muscles
