I've already got the official POA, this is just to register it with Barclays so I can take control of her bank accounts

Let me guess. Just like when they realigned the premiums for men/women and womens went up to make it 'fairer', new policies will simply just go up in line with existing policies?mushy wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 5:22 pm They've changed the rules this year so that there are no more discounted rates for new policies
Meaning hopefully that you won't necessarily have the annual ball ache of surfing through countless comparison sites. Unless you want to of course because your current provider is taking the piss.

My home & contents insurance expires on Saturday; last year I paid £194, my renewal quote was £201, which didn't seem too bad.mushy wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 5:22 pm They've changed the rules this year so that there are no more discounted rates for new policies

However after a quick search I found equivalent cover for £100. I think my current provider is taking the piss!

And when they looked into the 'unfairness' of men retiring at 65 while women retired at 60.
There's a theme developing here..

You wait until they remove the Lodge Avenue flyover on the A13 & put an underpass there like they did at Movers Lane..westham,eggyandchips wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 7:11 am Roadworks on the A12 that are adding around 30min to my journey morning and evening. Apparently there til Feb 2024.
Unless you don't use that stretch of road...

It won't matter.
By then they'll have rolled out this proposed 'super-tram' system which will mitigate the need to own cars..

Re: Little things that irritate you
The really distracting annoying pop up advert on KUMB for Domino's with a face painted Italian bloke waving his arms about.
Re: Little things that irritate you
I'll raise that to every single advert on kumb
Sooner we get an app that's got the built in ads even if it cost £5 it would be worth it over this non mobile friendly one
