Sendo Jr #1 microwaving the car key, so now it doesn't work.

Replacement likely to be a ****ing fortune because it's one of those keyless keys that car thiefs love.

I am going to have a guess at this (sendo please correct if im wrong)

Sendo has a keyless car, they say keep the key in a box to block the signal to stop people stealing them

people put them in microwaves as they are the same as using one of these boxes as they block the signal from the key

so his son started the microwave either by accident or didnt check and put something in thus ruining the key

how right am i sendo?

Surely a little silver foil wallet is just as effective?

Mumbles is correct.

We had two foil wallets for two keys. One broke.

Mrs Sendo was convinced the foil wallets didn't properly work anyway, so we had a metal Paw Patrol tin on the side in the hallway that we were putting them in, but she didn't like that being in the hallway. I thought it looked great.

So the keys end up in the microwave. Both of them. One in the pouch, one not in the pouch.

Sendo Jr #1 chucked his premade pancakes in to warm them for 10 seconds. As it's an integrated microwave he couldn't see in there properly and only realised when he pulled his pancakes out and the keys came with them.

The best bit though is the key that wasn't in the pouch is donald ducked, but the key that was in the pouch was fine....

I did actually, whilst pointing out that the pouches also clearly block microwaves.

Nope, a Diesel Renault Kadjar with a 65 litre tank (plus I filled right up to the end of the filler too I might add). I'm getting 60-65mpg out of it, so thankfully it doesn't drink it quickly...

275 litres for one of those mate. Or, currently at Asda near me - or £545 a tankful. And people wonder why fares are going up!

(I concede they can claim the VAT back, but nonetheless, times it by the 110 buses we have! They get through around 200 litres a day at 6-8mpg).

Have you tried sticking it in economy rather than sports mode?
