No, wait. False alarm. Just logged in after receiving the "good news about your ticket" email to discover I've only won £5.80.

If I worked for the National Lottery I'd call people just to tell them that they hadn't won..
Hi, Ben Dover? It's S-H here and I'm calling from the National Lottery... I have news about your ticket, are you sitting down?... Yeah you didn't win. BYE!

Re: Little things that irritate you
A dirty, foreign, smackhead **** trying to mug me for my camera over Davy Down in South Ockendon. He gave the game away as he went past on his bike a couple of times eying it up - which gave me the chance to take the lens hood off of the Canon 10-18mm lens I had in my hoody pocket, which I subsequently used to clout the **** round the head with when he stood in front of me and said in broken "English Camera, give it to me" whilst pointing at it.
It was after I told him to f*** off that he stepped towards me, and that's when the lens came out of the pocket in a flash.

Being 'foreign' is no crime, but as for the rest of it I hope you reported this to the police cos the scumbucket is clearly a danger to people. Glad you're ok.

I never said it was, I was being descriptive, hence the comma between dirty and foreign.
What's the point? He'll be long gone, nothing was stolen, and all they'll do is issue me with a crime number.vietnammer wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 1:13 pmbut as for the rest of it I hope you reported this to the police cos the scumbucket is clearly a danger to people. Glad you're ok.
I'm fine, I'm now at the angry stage where I'm dwelling on it thinking "How dare you, you ****".

Re: Little things that irritate you
Understand this and thought similar many years ago, but different situation. Thing is I've realised that it has eaten away at me (how dare you?) and I regret not doing anything about it now. The police, no matter how little you trust them,WILL want you to report this cos other people may have as well. Report it mate.

It's not that I don't trust them, I just couldn't see the point.
Anyway, it's done now, so...
