No, my friend, the most annoying is the know nothing, pathetic cultural pigmies that use Janis Joplin tracks to flog foul-smelling chemically polluted water in fancy looking bottles for pimply teenagers to give (at immense expense) to some old swamp donkey at Christmas, in the (usually vain) hope of giving her a portion.

[basically, I'm agreeing with you, but I really needed to get that off my chest...]

Bit like fans of football clubs using classic songs and inserting lyrics of a player to fit.

Yep, we were delayed by 60 mins into Stansted at 4am also, then had to wait an hour for the long stay bus due to the queue being longer than expected because of the delays.

A breathtakingly sh*t piece of hardware. They gave me a MH5 a couple months back - improved things a little bit but not significantly. Ended up re-cabling my front room to put it in a better place, and that’s kinda fixed it but still acutely annoying that ISP combination router/switch/wireless access points do all things so poorly.

I have a VM2 router (I think) with internal antennae. I still had my previous router with two external stub antennae, so after a quick bit of surgery the VM2 now has external antennae, which made a small but noticeable difference.

Yeh - the SH's are only decent for small coverage - if you have anything bigger than a 2 bed flat or old house with thick walls you are better off putting them in modem mode and running either : decent router with better external antennas, external APs (I run 5 Ubiquiti Pro-Lites) or a mesh environment.

I've never had VM until this week. I live in a small 2 bed flat and never had any issues with the 'free' equipment sent from BT or Sky.

I bought one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07RB7 ... asin_title but it hasn't made much difference. I'm guessing because poor signal in = poor signal out.

Loathed to spend money on another router but I doubt I have much choice.

Our win over West Ham was a 'big deal'

Yes thank you Kumb for rubbing that salt in :crossed:
