Neighbours... but in particular a Neighbour who appears to have no concept of sound or potentially is borderline deaf. I don't actually think I have never not heard the car go past not blaring music, **** music too, but then that is subjective. It is always windows down and right up. I'd kinda half get it if they were young'uns but got to be mid 40s minimum i'd say and if they aren't they must of had a terribly hard life. It's pretty much like a ****ing moving dance music festival as they cruise past. :crylol:

2nd, Working from home - because that has made me realise the above.

As I said to one of the nurses, 'f*** me, that's more painful than childbirth', to which she replied 'Oh I don't think so', to which an older ward sister that over heard then said to the nurse 'I've had 3 children and I've also had stones - I can assure you, he's right'

Had just got to sleep last night, you know, the phase where you're not 100% gone, yet not really conscious either - and some ****ers on motorbikes with extremely loud exhausts decide to wake up half the neighbourhood - and me. Well that was then game over for a couple of hours, as I'd already dozed.

I'm pretty sure they were deliberately making as much noise as they could. Total oxygen thieves. I've got a photoshoot today, and I'm tired and grumpy, and I'm shooting a lady that's totally neurotic, that classes herself as a perfectionist (it's for her new business website) and my patience levels are going to be right on the floor.

£23.80 now for the dentist to spend 30 seconds checking your railings and sending you on your way.

Wasn't long ago you'd pay about 14 quid and they would clean and polish them as well.

Horrific.

I honestly wanted to die when I was trying to pass them. They could hear me wailing streets away.

Getting a penalty fare as I went from Gidea Park to Chelmsford using a bank card, I even offered to pay there and then for a return, instead got charged £20 for a penalty fare, max charge by TFL and then had to buy a single back, so £44 for a return that costs £8, no middle ground with the guy even when I tried following the rules yet on a daily basis commuting to work I see people jump the barriers, push behind someone or if caught just say they have no cash or money

I know a few people caught out by this. You just don't think as we're so used to just tapping in and out on that line.

It's actually £516.10.
Is it worth it for the money you could save by not commuting?

As i've mentioned in another thread, the Mrs and I are looking to move north and commute back into London 2 days a week which would cost £400 a month.

Once I've got settled, I think I'll find a fully remote role or a job nearer to where I live.

One of the problems I find with working in construction is it’s hard to build things from home, unfortunately.

People knocking on the door collecting money for the majorettes.

Does anyone else bother people at home whilst they're making dinner to beg money for their kids hobbies? :?

No, but it’s a good idea. I can’t really be ****ed with the walking so I will DM you with a justgiving page for my kids to go to the Seychelles. Cheers.

He could cycle to work, that way (and with a little bit of DIY) he could charge up some capacitors, or batteries to help with his 'leccy costs.. :winker:

Google maps says 36 miles and 3 hours each way to cycle, so if I get up at 4am do a full days work then cycle home I'll be able to get in just in time to go to bed. :D
