Little things that irritate you

Fortunately I’m not at risk, but having to look others who are, in the eye and try to offer some (ultimately useless) words. The next month of so is going to be tough (but not as tough for them).

Sucked all life out of what has been a wonderful work place over the last 15 months and I’m not sure it will ever feel the same for me.
I left the courts a few weeks ago and it was just as bad there.

Had an incident earlier today where some old lady just stopped before a set of lights on green (Chelmer Village if anyone knows it).

I got out the car as I genuinely thought she might have had a health episode or something.

She replied saying she reckons they are going to change to red soon.

Called the old bill as something clearly weren't right and waited until they arrived (she was still sitting there with everyone else overtaking, probably assuming she'd broken down).

F*cking mad that there are people like this unfortunately on the road.

She'd probably been to Asda and lost the will to live.

I thought my beard was making me look older, so I shaved it off.

Turns out that wasn't the problem after all.

^^^^It could be you have one of those research grade bathroom mirrors that show you what you'll look like when you get old.

I hardly ever look in the mirror now. What I see when I do doesn't equate to how I think of myself. I blame those smoothing filters on phones for giving me a false impression of how I look. Makes it more of a shock when I look in the mirror.

When I catch a glimpse of myself in the bathroom mirror, I always get a shock as I can't work out what my Dad is doing there.

I used one of those ageing apps on my phone and it turned me into the spitting image of my dad as he is now - which is weird because I don't really look my dad as he was when he was my age.

Never look down in to a mirror. After a certain age, it looks like your face is falling off..

I'm trying to envisage an acceptable reason for having a mirror on the floor and to be honest, each one is worse than the previous. I won't sleep tonight.

Flax seeds. I've realised that it's them giving me terrible stomach cramps.

Whole, just as I was in a whole load of pain.

Honestly, worse than child birth. Probably.

Yeah, I can't ever see myself looking down into a mirror.

Try ground - it's easier to digest. You can buy it dirt cheap at Aldi.
