She’s 14 and he’s 12. We are entering more turbulent waters to be sure. It’s her first day of high school. It’ll be interesting. She’ll come out the other end of this stage, more or less who she is going to be.Hummer_I_mean_Hammer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 6:55 pm A word to the wise, as my mum always said... the bigger they get, the bigger the problems they cause get.

This weather's giving me really good bogies. Want more?dasnutnock3 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 4:05 pm Just dug an enormous ingrowing hair out of my chin, followed by a load of blood & pus. Feels superb, have kept the hair as a souvenir.

Photo evidence required + update on haemorrhoids. Photo evidence not required for that.
Edit: Oh go on then.

West Ham playing in Europe. Again. Thought I would be less buzzy about this tournament but really looking forward to the match.
Definitely a reason to be cheerful.

I was wondering if someone would mention Wayne Kerr. Rather expensive high end test equipment, ours were kept in a locker to be brought out when run of the mill HP, B&K and Philips just weren't good enough.

Yes, all Wayne Kerrs should be locked away.Johnny Byrne's Boots wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 11:31 am I was wondering if someone would mention Wayne Kerr. That's brilliant, your sister must be very proud and rightly so. Congrats to them.dasnutnock3 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 8:49 am My sisters kids got 7 A* grades at A level between them and got into their preferred colleges (Cambridge & Exeter).

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
The photography work starting to come in thick and fast. I've had shoots 3 of the last 4 days, with another one tomorrow. Not great payers, but it's building up my portfolio, and giving me much needed content for the new website, which I finally published yesterday. It's not totally finished, but at least I have something to direct enquiries too, rather than social media.
Onwards and upwards, and if it enables me to get off of the godforsaken buses, then it will be more than a little thing that makes me smile.
Oh, and I've already got booking in to next year and 2024, with deposits paid!
