This YouTube channel. I'm addicted to it and have been watching in the evenings all week. Some great football, some blasts from the past and some familiar names too ...

One thing I've noticed watching these is that some of the goalkeeping is pretty shocking to say the least, I mean really bad but it's hardly a talking point. Certainly compared to today's keepers the standard really has improved.

My old pair of slippers have bit the dust so I ordered a nw pair from t'internet.

Bought on Sat, delivered Sun and since them I've known a new level of joy.

They are like ankle boots with a lovely non animal fleece inside and a trainer like sole on the outside, giving a combination of both comfort and practability. And amazingly warm. Feel feel like they are being warmed by a fire all the time I am wearing them

Rock and roll eh?

The wife getting the all-clear in the follow-up to her malanoma op (basically, they got all the cancer out and it hasn't spread)

That's been a lovely and enjoyable 3 months waiting to get to this point, as you might imagine. Major relief today.

At last, some positive news! That's great mate.

As someone who's missus has had cancer twice, I can relate to that feeling of relief. :fist:
