Re: Little things in life that make you smile
Just heard that they are repealing the "off-payroll working reforms", basically going to reset IR35 to what it was before 2017.
Great news for many out there.

Often have Planet Rock Radio Station on in the Mornings...Like the DJ Wyatt Wendalls...top bloke does a lot of charity stuff,
bike rides for CALM etc...(Campaign against Living Miserably) ,always bigging peoples probs up,trying to help....Anyway..
Every so often they broadcast a little advertising Logo/catchphrase thing...
"If Music be the food of love, then get ready for a DAMN GOOD ROGERING"....always makes me smile and heard it dozens of times.

The absolute thunderbastard roast dinner I just made. Half a plate of potatoes, veg piled high, made a complete mess in the kutchen and I'm now off for a carb coma.

Had a roast this evening, too. Pressed pork belly with roast veg, sprouts & gravy. I’m sure I’ll be delightfully aromatic tomorrow morning.

Results of a poll published in The Times this morning, suggesting 10% of septics & 6% of Brits reckon they could take a Chimpanzee in unarmed combat.

A chimpanzee is quite likely to literally unarm a human...

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
Indeed, I was left wondering if Americans actually understand the meaning of the word "unarmed". Presumably, that just means "semi-automatic weapons and handguns only".Johnny Byrne's Boots wrote: ↑Tue Sep 27, 2022 11:26 am A chimpanzee is quite likely to literally unarm a human...

Unarm and deface...Johnny Byrne's Boots wrote: ↑Tue Sep 27, 2022 11:26 am A chimpanzee is quite likely to literally unarm a human...
The idiots are probably imagining baby chimps from TV ads, not fully grown adults with 10 times he bite strength of humans....
