Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Both the pug and the Jack Russell were asleep in there and my other dog comes in, sees there's no room and looks up at me all dough-eyed and sad. I pat him on the head, tell him not to worry and promptly order another bed off Amazon.
Afterwards I couldn't help thinking I've just acted out a really cheesy ad for Amazon without even knowing it, the kind of vomit inducing stuff you see on the box frequently.

Not sure if this should be in the Irritate thread or not :chin:
Well, the dog bed turned up and they were all at each other's throats as to who was going to lay on it. I had to separate them more than once

Again, I'm not sure if this should be in the Irritate thread or not :chin:

The graphite shaft in my 6 iron snapped today. The head flew about forty yards (straight :newthumb: ), and I completed the round without it. I was amazed at how light a graphite shaft is, about the same as a gnat's hind leg. On the bright side, it's new clubs o'clock :scarfer:

Yes this is also in the irritate thread, but the joy new golf clubs bring is not to be underestimated.

After playing rugby between 9-19, my son gave up when he went to Uni. Now 25, he got a girlfriend last year who is a handy player herself and she persuaded him to take it up again - got a text earlier from him saying he is playing tomorrow night. Well chuffed for him.

That's actually a cat's way of showing affection and that they have complete trust in you. Cat's scent glands are in their aris and also, it's the most vulnerable part of a cat so when they stick it in your face, it's showing that they trust you completely and you can sniff their arse and they won't mind.

Their arses always reminded me of a raw sausage cut in half for some reason.

Years ago, I received an all-office email, promoting the office masseuse’s service list. Raised a few eyebrows:

Full Body £45

Sports Intensive £40

Indian Head £25

Went to Broadford to pick up another Tesco shopping this morning , then driving through our little community we had to slow down for a pair of rabbits who were running up ahead totally oblivious to our presence doing what rabbits do .

A real-life pair of Easter Bunnies - made me smile .

That beautiful first weekend of the year when it is nice enough to sit outside all day. I love this time of year the most, everything feels alive.

Yes, it’s been glorious in the sun today. My brother and I persuaded my Grandad to go out in the garden of the residential home that he is in … it had been the first time he’d been out of there in 2 months. He loved it.
