Magnificent, even if it is a 'tame' bird. Spot the leather strap on its leg.

Friday WFH, no meetings after 1030, Test Cricket and F1/F2 on other monitors... nice quiet day and on leave next week. This is the way.

A friend has been bunged in to Facebook Jail for 28 days for commenting 'Horrible little yellow bastards. Kill them, kill them all then burn their house down' on a photo that was posted.

The photo in question was of a colony of spiders in the garden of a friend that had hatched

It went against community standards for violence and incitement :crylol:

Far removed from Americanisms, the cute ''Indianisms'' that my Indian girlfriend says.

Highlight is saying "I took" rather than "I bought" from a shop. Hope she doesn't go saying that to an English person :crylol: . Other ones include saying "I've to" in terms of when you have to do something, whereas we only use I've when you're describing an action, and also just saying "I reached" rather than "I reached --insert place here--"

There are some more but it makes me smile whenever I see/hear them.

Has she taken you out for an English yet? If so, props if you ordered the blandest thing on the menu.

Finally got my first proper hair cut yesterday, the full 'Bill Bailey' was heading my way and, as I'm neither funny, musically gifted or ever likely to dance with Oti Mabusi I decided it was time to take action.

Now Her OFTness and I have been together 50 years (she's soooo lucky) and this is what made me smile. "You know", she said,I've never seen you with short hair before"
I 'fell asleep' on the sofa watching the TV...just in case...

This is much tougher than irritations...
  • starting a conversation with a neighbour: one of the old guys who doesn't get out much
Arriving at the bus stop just as my bus arrives
Having a really good, relaxing poo
Seeing a really beautiful sunrise, even if you know the photo you take won't do it justice
walking through Hemsby while your well-trained 12-year-old Son gets annoyed about all the Grocers' apostrophes outside shops
a little polystyrene pot of seafood and a wooden fork
finding a fiver in the pocket of your jeans
ice cream with flake, on a pier
a sunny day when it's not too hot, but has a pleasant breeze
a pint of real ale in a pub garden
    pangolins
when your wife goes out for the evening, but the Blues Brothers is on telly
    writing lists

That moment you realise that (even though you've been told by doctors/bank managers/random tossers/etc, that you have to cut down your drinking) , you've had enough to not give a sh*t and you might as well make a night of it. :muscle:

Have some squirrels that hang around the garden ,nicking birdfood/peanuts etc...
One was sat in a tree chilling/sunbathing,when jumps up runs down tree, across garden patio thing,up another small tree on to
top of an brick outbuilding/shed,which has a drainage run off into a water barrel,it squats over the pipe funnel that leads to barrel
has a piss, looks around grabs a couple peanuts, that I chuck up on shed, climbs back down across patio,up the tree it was in previously,
to the very same spot, leans back eating peanuts.
Honestly couldn't beleived what I just watched.

At a previous house,I used to feed one by hand...Brazil Nuts, was so funny,She actual started to come right into the house, looking
for us to give her her Nuts.
